The Blade star lost one estate in 2003 through a foreclosure sale and now he has another property at risk near Orlando, according to US news show Celebrity Justice. The property, assessed at $257,843, was scheduled to be auctioned off on Tuesday, but the sale has been rescheduled to June. The actor’s suit, filed last month in New York’s Manhattan federal court, sought a ruling invalidating the warrant issued by a New York family court judge. Since Snipes lives in Florida, the New York court has no jurisdiction, the actor’s lawyer argued. The warrant stemmed from a paternity suit filed in Indiana by a woman who claimed Snipes fathered her young son. In his suit, Snipes said the woman was a mentally ill former crack addict who has made similar claims against other celebrities.

To hear Snipes tell it, it’s not completely his fault that he’s considered to be on the same level of the Hollywood food chain as Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme (although Snipes has more range).
