Not only is Eddie to cheap to hire other actors, he needs to learn to do more than one voice.

The movie looks cute for the 90′s but this is 2006, he needs to step his game up and cut out the buffoonery.

I would watch this movie on boot-leg DVD at a freiends house or something, but Im not paying no money to go see this. Only time I smiled was when the young black girl, knocked the two little white dudes heads together…YAWN!

please stop talking about things setting us back 50 years. this movie does have a lot of stereotypes including big, fat, loud, black woman (which i despise) and does not appear funny at all. BUT to say single events can cancel out all of the positive strides we’ve taken since 1956 negates the collective accomplishments our people have made.

why is it that “other” people can release movies like “girls gone wild” and “jackass” and still have their culture intact but, if we release “norbit” we’re back in jim crow?

I agree, it’s Nutty Professor 3 alright. It may have a few funny moments, but I don’t think I’d race to the theatres to pay to see it.

And as a race, it’s still hard for us to come to grips with sterotypes because we’re bombarded with them and surrounded by it as well. Eddie hasn’t been funny since Coming to America and Beverly Hills Cop…he was semi-funny in The Nutty Professor but after that it just kept going downhill.

The dinner scene in both the Clumps movies is funny as hell. I’m going to run to see this movie. It’s a comedy people. Don’t take yourselves to seriously. I think Eddie Murphy is genious after all of these years. I hope he gets an Oscar for his role in Dreamgirls.

Come on now if you look at his movies over the years.. The funniest ones are when he duplicates himself to play other characters. Unless he has another superstar comedian along side with him, his best bet is to do it on his own. So whenever it comes out I will be there!!
