Um, how the hell did Jeffrey’s over-the-budget ass win?
I knew Michael wasn’t going to take it, after I saw his show. I was really disappointed in his line. But I’m still a fan. Personally, I think Uli should have won. She got robbed. Now Jeffrey’s annoying ass is going to be everywhere now.

Ugh! Dam him! Jeffrey is an obnoxious turd. Yes, his style is “different” but all his clothes weren’t the hottness. I agree. Uli was the most consistent, even if she was doing the same style. But if it ain’t broke…

Yeah you’re right about Michael, he started slipping in the end. I was mad at first, since I was team Michael. But the truth is, his clothes were a bit too flashy. I like his presentation though; it definitely caught my attention. Uli had a better line in the end. I could see myself wear everything she put out. Also Jeffery not deserving, his overall effort was up and down in taste and style. I assume they want a “rock” inspired designer for this season. Michael will be alright, too many people like him. We be seeing Michael and Uli soon.
I realy think Uli should have WON. She & Michael had the best lines to me.
It would have been nice to see this Michael guy win. There are not very big black designers around in this world. But I guess he can still do his thing. He was in the top 4 after all. All the best to him and the rest of the finalists.
i was totally for Michael all season then he dropped the ball…my heart sank when i saw his collection.like he lost his fire somewhere…but Uli stepped up and wowed me..yes she was robbed but Jeffery makes better tv so he stole it..Laura has impecable taste but a lil high end for the everyday woman…but she will be ok..her clothes are perfect
CONSPIRACY!!! Jeffrey cheated…. How are you NOT going to have a receipt for something and the penalty is that you can not use it. He should have been eliminated. I LOVED Laura’s sophisticated design, but I think Uli pulled it off in the end.

I enjoyed Jeff’s fashion style… It was interesting… Personality wise — he can be a big prick, but hell maybe that’s not what the judges were thinking about… Congrats J….

I agree. I think the judges liked his “different” personality. He fits the stereotype of the designer….DIVA. He tripped me out when he said on one show “People looked at the pleates on this dress, and it brought them to tears”. I was like …WTF!
I was a Michael fan, but after seeing their lines I knew Uli would win. How the in the world did Jeffrey win?!?!?! I wouldn’t buy anything he put out there. Unlike Uli. I would wear everything she put out. Michael has some banging items, but a few were questionable.
I’m a huge Michael fan. Street safari was a great idea and his first model was the shit!!!
I agree with you guys about Laura. I don’t think any of them have anything to worry about. For some reason, I can’t remember a damn thing Uli put out. Even though Jeffrey is an ass, I think the right person won if you keep in mind what the judges were looking for. His line is very innovative. He could have used a bit more color (the models, not the designs). I’m sure Angela is still pissed that he won. Hopefully he won’t give in to the pressure and have a relapse. I wish them all luck but really look forward to seeing Michael’s designs in the future. I’ll watch it again tonight after Ugly Betty.
What happened is Mike went home them 2 months and KICKED it. You know people are questioning his sexuality and I BET it was many women ready to “challenge” it….so he accepted..and before he knew it..It was time to go back and he had nothing. So he was under pressure and let down the black community!!! That’s all that happened. I am happy he choose braces though. THANK GOD!!!! He will be okay. You see how the crowd responded. He will probably do WAAAAAAYYY better than Wet-Back-Jack (Jeff).

personally i was watching south park lastnite (funny as hell cartman was monitoring the halls as if he were “dog the bounty hunter” complete w/ a big-breasted wife), this is the thing about me, i watch every episode of “f.o.l”, but didnt watch the last one until yesterday, and i watch every single episode of project runway except the last one haha. i do wanna see their clothes so ill prob watch it sometime
personally i didnt think uli wude hav made it to the top 4
but im a huge fan of laura, her dresses are classic!!, but if she wude team up w/ someone a lil more modern she cude hav a line thats fire!

I think he did a lot to show that there are good Black designers who can really create and sew their own designs. (other than celebrities that just put their name on their ish).
We definitely are soooooo behind with Project Runway!! We just watch the last episode about 2 weeks ago, the one that chloe and Santino were the final two and Chloe won. Or am I busy watching the wrong channel?? Someone in South Africa please fill me in…

I think Jeffrey deserved the win. I’m always team BLACK but I was underwhelmed my Michael’s collection.
I totally agree that Uli had the best collection. Michaels was uninspired and had a lot of things I had seen before. His work was still beautiful. Theres no way Laura’s collection should have ranked higher than his. She sent the same dress down the runway that she had been designing for the entire competition. There was nothing innovative about her.

the whole season was a waste. jeffery was the biggest hater on the show. his style is too hot tropic to me.
I too was mad that Michael didn’t win, but his final collection couldn’t touch some of the designs he did throughout the show. Uli was robbed. Her line was fiyah, way better than all the flowing pieces she was known for. Jeffrey’s line was okay. I liked a couple of pieces. As far as the models Nazri should’ve won, she was fierce everytime she hit that runway even when she had on an ugly outfit, she worked it.
i think Jeffery shouldn’t have won or even competed in this season’s show…he already has his own business and caters to celebrities…i think this show should b for those that are looking to get their fashions out to the masses…i still love Uli & Micheal regardless….

You have to admin though that Jeff’s stuff was really original. I, too, think that Uli should have won and I thought she was going to win based on the comments from the judges, but I guess that was the “twist.” I liked Michael, but I think his collection was too sexy and casual to be a top designer yet. A lot of his outfits were for the beach and for the club. I think Jeffrey actually NEEDED to win because he’s the least likely to get the success the others will for just being on the show and showing their designs.
michael’s line looked like baby phat…very disappointing…i think he got caught up in being the favorite contestant. sometimes that can mess with your mind. he probably felt like he had to BRING it. but didn’t.
Uli’s stuff looked the best.

America Farrera is the shit I loved her in Real Women have curves!! It looks like she has lost some weight. Either way she is still pretty.

I liked Jeffrey’s final collection. It shaped up real nice. Michael seemed to do well all season, so I almost thought he was a shoe in. Jeffrey was the most innovative of the four. So, I’m happy he won.
I didn’t think Michael would win it after seeing his clothes down the runway. He’s a fantastic designer, but like the judges said he needs time to mature. I didn’t think Jeffery deserved the win. I think Uli should have won. I new Jeffery won it because I seen him on ET showing off his designs a 2 weeks before the finale. A damn shame!

I really really really wanted Michael to be the winner, but I have to agree that his line was not the best. I thought everything looked the same, just different colors and different belts. Michael didn’t take it all the way with it! But I love Michael and I wish him the best in his career.
Laura’s was very nice and elegant, the judges need to get over the fact that the woman has a very distictive style, I can see her clothes in Neiman Marcus or something.
Jeffrey’s was coo, he did his thing I must admit..
Uli’s was the best but I don’t think the judges were ready to give her the crown.

I LOVE MICHAEL but I have to agree he did sort of drop the ball. The clothes were hott, just not what I expected. I still think he will do very well!! And I think he represented African Americans very well. Usually we are seen starting drama and giving attitude. Michael didn’t do either. He focused on the task at hand and because of that, he was in the final 4 and he will do very well in the future!!
I can’t believe my baby Michael didn’t win!!! I am going to be in denial for awhile. Forget Project Runway, I am sure he has alot of offers everywhere.

After watching the finale I believe Laura should’ve won. Her line was very couture and beautifully constructed. It looked very parisian. And with couture you can never go wrong. Her shit was beat!
Also Jeffrey and Uli’s was very good…very chic…very American
But I don’t know what happened to Michael his line was very urban, it looked something for baby phat. Don’t get me wrong it was good but just very urban.

She was really good in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She was dancing her ass of at the end of last weeks episode. I tell everyone I know about this show. We need to support it. How many shows have a beautiful, young, slightly overweight minority in the leading role? This show is one of the best “dramadies” on TV.
I’m beginning to remember some of Uli’s line and it was hot. I can definately see myself wearing alot of things from her and Michael’s line. Uli just didn’t have enough range.
I love that ugly green color that Laura was using. It is so bold and looks like it would go well with almost any complexion.
I think Jeffrey’s model’s name is Marilinda. She worked it the entire season just like Uli’s/Michael’s model did. Maybe she didn’t stand out as much because of her height and she does look like she might blend in or get lost in any crowd. Her walk was fierce though and she really did wear the hell out of Jeffrey’s clothes. Congrats to the both of them!!!

Michael was my pick to win, but after viewing all four colletions, Uli was a sure fit for # 1. She was really innovative and her collection was nothing like she produced on the show! Jeffery as the winner was a true surprise.
I’m really questioning what PR is “looking” for in a winner. If you ask me, it’s time for PR to have a more diversified pannel of judges.

I new Jeffery and Uli was going to be in the final two because Uli and Jefferys collection was on point. I did think Uli was going to win but Jeffery did good too so i’m glad one of them won, because Micheal drop the ball and Lauras collection was classy but I don’t think it was very youthful.

I think Michael mistakenly fell victim to pressure thinking he had to wow the judges and just dropped the ball. He’s still EXTREMELY talented and young, and I agree with the judges assessment that he has to experience more growth. Even he himself explained to the judges that he was searching (hunting) for his style, hence the safari theme.
Laura turned that shyt out for that red carpet effect, Uli DID give you look you wanna know better, but alas, Jeffrey, like him or not, DID show innovation and cohesiveness within his collection(shades of Jay from season one).
Yeah, he should have been scannalized for the over budget sitchiation, but you know this IS tv, after all.

I couldnt even watch the damn show! I was on pins and needles but I was mad as HELL Jeff won! Lol, over budget! I did actually think he did get some help, his line was really nice tho but I duno..Michael is still number 1 in my eyes. But truly it was a really hard decision and either way people were going to end up mad. Michael was the fan favorite tho, hes definately going to go FAR!

He hasn’t sewn one cohesive thing especially anything that a woman over a size 5 could wear all season and who wants to look like a pregnant lampshade ie: that baby doll dress with apples on it.. yes apples ugh. I would wear Uli, Laura and some of Michaels but wouldn’t wear Jeffrey’s rags to a dog fight.
i must confess i didnt watch the show until becaus ethe blk guy was doing well. i also did watch the show because let’s face it, after the flov of love i couldnt look at another blk person on reality tv. i didnt like his clothes on the end. he had brain freese. that laura woman was very good and that uli chick should have won.
i have a friend who designs clothes for kids and she say the fashion industry wants to change its image badly so that is why they put str8 men on top. they give diddy, russel, and snoop awards for their lines, they dosnt own a sketch book.

As with everyone else, I was disappointed in Michael’s showing. He was HOT the whole show and then went in a weird direction at the end. Everyone was rooting for him though. STILL, I know he is going to come back HOTTER than ever. Go Michael!!!
ULI:
I LOVED Uli’s line and wish she had won. I can see her clothes out there on anyone. Every piece was on hit. She showed she could do more than just print. I’m not a prints person but she does make her prints and colors less over the top than some other designers. She makes it all work.
Laura:
I really liked her line. I told my husband that I wanted to blow up a pic of that black dress that had the fur shoulders. That was hot!! Very sophisticated. Her line was very retro –1920′S ELEGANCE!
Jeffrey:
I felt bad for him after I heard his life story. Still, I guess I’m just not “with it” because I didn’t get his line. It looked a mess. The judges voted for him because he was different I guess.
I hate to say it… but I really liked Jeffrey’s collection. It was the most complete of all four. His was the most innovative and his perspective was truly unique. Now if only he would get a personality transplant…
Uli’s line was actually my favorite! Her clothes were the most wearable. Her line really surprised me. I didn’t think she could pull it off. I think that she should have won, but I could definitely see where the judges were coming from by picking Jeffrey.
Michael was such a let down. I did like his collection, but I think it lacked a little depth. Although I have to say his use of color towards the end was fabulous! I think being young, black and from Atlanta is really reflected in his style and his presentation. Black women like to be fresh when we step out and I think his line reflected that. I think as far as young black culture is concerned, sometimes white judges don’t understand our flavor. I’m sure a lot of “fashion experts” never thought Phat Farm would blow up like it did.
Laura’s style is exquisite and her eye for detail is amazing. However, she has no range. Maybe she should start a bridal and evening wear line.

Jeffrey used to be a dope fiend so maybe that accounts for his sh!tty personality. And Laura definitely has no range but she is meticulous.
Jeffrey’s dirty, disgusting ass cheated and when the real maker of his garments surface, Project Runway and Brav are going to look like the asses they showed themselves to be.
Jeffrey broke at least two of the rules and they still gave him the crown. He never showed any true sewing on that show, yet in the end his work is impeccable…I don’t think so. Also, you could tell that he was hiding something because he didn’t present all of the receipts and he claimed that he had other stuff in the receipt bag that he had to remove. Laura will be proven right…Jeffrey cheated and it was allowed.
