Tim Gunn, Laura Bennett, Uli Herzner, Jeffrey Sebelia and Michael Knight TRESemme and Tim Gunn host the finale party and screening of the final episode of ‘Project Runway’ at the Tribeca Hotel New York City
See who won, after the jump..
WINNER: JEFFREY

Um, how the hell did Jeffrey’s over-the-budget ass win?
I knew Michael wasn’t going to take it, after I saw his show. I was really disappointed in his line. But I’m still a fan. Personally, I think Uli should have won. She got robbed. Now Jeffrey’s annoying ass is going to be everywhere now.

Ananubi: amen! That vile garbage called Jeffrey cheated and IT WILL come out who did the sewing. Whatever is done in darkness always come to light and this will backfire on PR/Bravo bigtime!
Okay, I was really on ‘Team Michael’, I really was; but then I saw Uli’s and I was hooked. I loved it. But Jeffrey, did have the most original ponit of view and will make a lot of money as result. His clothes are fresh I would by some of the things. It was a FAIR judging. But I would still like to see Uli win.
I just don’t like that when I saw some of Michael’s things, I instantly thought “Baby Phat,” and that’s never good. I’m just disappointed in him. He slipped.
I really like Michael, but I was kind of disappointed with his collection. However, I give him mad props for having all those black models wearing his clothes on the runway. It was one black model after the next…something you don’t normally see at a venue like that. Unless, it’s BET’s Rip the Runway!
People are forgetting that what is judged in the finale is the line they present on the runway, not the designs from the challenges.
Michael, who was consistently innovative and creative during the challenges, fell completely flat when left to his own devices for the runway collection. His clothes were not only a tad tasteless abd so far left from his previous efforts, they were also not that different from the stuff women could buy from the Baby Phat line in Macy’s. Did you peep the shade: Michael’s line was the only one that didn’t garner any applause during the walk. And even Brandy said, “I love Michael, but Uli’s my favorite tonight.”
Uli and Laura, both whom I love, didn’t really stray far from their challenge looks.
Jeff, on the other hand, whose challenges were all over the place, had the most innovative and thematic line of all four finalists. I HATE Jeff, mind you. But he gave exactly what the judges were looking for.
Yeah, I was for Michael too but I started realizing that he wasn’t going to take it all the way after the last challenge.
Mike’s problem is he dosen’t know himself as a designer. He can make what you tell him to make BUT he can’t really come up with his own ideas. That is why he had such a problem with the last ‘make-your-own-outfit’ challenge.
Jeffery has had a special place in my heart every since he went off on Angela’s mom.
That made me a little moist in my area.
But all that aside, he DESERVED to win. His collection had a CONSISTENT THEME, it was VARIED, and it was PERFECTLY excecuted. Uli sent 12 print dresses down the runway, and while they were cute, they were the SAME SHIT she’d done all season. I personally was tired of that and I found Jeff’s collection to be fresh and fun to look at. I’d buy his hsit in a heartbeat.
Well I dont see how he “deserved” to win when his own mother stated to Laura’s mother.. that he had a lot of outside help.. that’s why the whole cheating accusation started.. which is why Laura went to the producers and Tim. His own mother outted his cheating to another parent so the only thing he deserved was a kick in his ass out the door.
man, i was praying Michael would win!! HIs line was lacking though, maybe he got tired or distracted at the end. He’ll be allright tho. I like JEffrey’s line, but I agree with my girl Laura, there is NOOOOO WAYYY he could have had that line flawless like that w/o outside help. While everyone else was making alterations, he was the only one there twidling his thumbs……watching the clock die down. Things thast make you go Hmmmm…..
I am so pissed that that midget Jeffrey won. Only on tv can a stank ass attitude get you far. Michael’s collection was a little bright..yeah. But I would have been happier with Laura or Uli winning. Such a disappointment. Also whenever I hear of past designers, the losers are always much more popular than the winners. I see Kira Saun ( I think that’s her name) everywhere. But where’s Jay and Chloe?
I wanted Ulie to win
Does Michael have braces or mini grills?
I feel so bad for Uli but not too bad because she making a lot more money than me.
Truth is though Uli had the best collection of the 4 and if this was a regualar challenge she would have won, but the judges were using some other criteria.
They kept saying that “every woman would want to buy ” Uli’s dsigns so why didnt she win?
Michael i dont think you are gay anymore you kind of straihgtenned up, good for you, be good to Brandy and her little girl.
Yes, Michael and Uli will be the most successful out of the bunch.
Their pieces were bit more realistic–especially Uli’s.
I mean, I know that fashion shows usually are over the top, but you have to think about your bread and butter.
In other words, you have to actually sell this stuff.
I honestly can’t imagine too many people that’ll be walking around in the clothes that Jeffrey and Laura made.
But, even so, I still send out well wishes to all of the designers from this season.
I was really feeling the haute coutre dress that Jeffrey put together while they were in France. That dress was so different and had the most amazing lines to it.
@ # 14, YOLA,
Sweety, the one we watched was of Europe, this one that everyone is talking about, I believe was only viewed in America. So NO, you’re not watching the wrong channel, keep on watching the Series Channel. I saw the preview of the next season and it looks very interesting. Much Love, Celi.
