According to Yahoo UK, Knowles might be nominated for her performance in Dreamgirls, but Ross hates the movie because it is loosely based on her career with ‘The Supremes’. Insiders say she plans to launch a suttle smear campaign about the movie.
The insider Tom O’Neil says: She hates Dreamgirls because its creators changed elements of her story to avoid paying royalties.
A longtime friend and colleague (of Ross) tells me that Miss Ross hates Dreamgirls because she feels like she’s been ripped off, like its creators changed just enough key elements of her story so they didn’t have to pay her royalties and then refused to give her any input on how her story would be told.

I’ve seen a lot of the clips from the movie and I saw the 20 minute clip from Cannes, private source, and I think that they, the movie, have a good chance of getting an Oscar nom. @44 – Only original songs can be nominated for an Oscar for best song… so “And I’m Telling You” is not eligible. Actually, thats one of the reasons why they wrote the song Listen and a couple other new tracks, so that they could be acknowledged.
Some of us have had the misfortune of watching Beyonce act in The Fighting Temptations and the horrible movie Pink Panther.. That was some pretty bad acting in my opinion. I could have put my dog in any of the movies she’s been in and my dog could have done a better job just barking. That doesn’t mean I’m a hater. I love her music. She just can’t act. SORRY!
