Boring show as usual. I missed the Flava Flav part. Does he know how much embarrasses himself. He must at this point. Right? Anyway, the best part was probably seeing that awful performance from PCD. That one girl busted her ass. LOL. Kind of reminds me of Michelle, but worst. And what the hell was up with that one girl coming up out of nowhere at the end trying to out sing the lead when she obviously can’t sing. Hot ass mess. The last hour was filled with nobodies and has beens. I could of changed after Jay Z.

Everybody look nice and classy, but the show was boring and the host was corny. To me the only performances that was great, was of course, Beyonce, Jaime Foxx, Jay-z and Snoop Dogg.

Everyone basically looks good and in good spirits. Raven looks nice and my boy Chamillionare is looking to right!

My comments. I actually liked the show and really enjoyed the performances. I think Beyonce’s Irreplaceable was just like all other Irreplaceable performances just with a nicer outfit and worse lacefront. Wish they had someone with a faster performance start the show. Overall, she looked nice all night, but made a bad choice of lacefront and i have seen her with better makeup. Was off.

Jay-z’s performance lacked energy. There was definitely something missing. He just seemed to be walking up and down the stage. I am glad he left the usual Waaave, and waaave foolishness and resorted to a different kind of wave. It was cute to see how Beyonce was supporting her man throughout the whole performance. He didnt seem that moved by hers, but then he is a man and he also shows emotions differently. I see the whole Bey-Jay entourage went missing after the JZ performance. I guess they left. Nigga has an album to promote.

Thanks to AKon and Snoop for affirming the steereotypes the american public has of hip hop music that it is all about hoes. They could not have done the performance without those strippers? That being said, the stripper on the pole had skills but there is a time and place for everything. I actually liked the songs they both performed. Just not the delivery.

Lionel- Damn! He still got it. And he can still get it. Boo to the crowd that was sitting front row when Lionel went down and was shaking their hand. They were kinda cold.

Jamie’s performance was quite emotional but he done turned that whole event into a funeral or memorial service for a minute. Wish he sang a different type of song.

Nely Furtado - I didnt really watch. I was handling business.

LOVED LOVED LOVED Mary’s performance. I am not a Mary fan and so was quite surprised. the song grew on me instantly. First time I had heard that song. Congrats to her for her 2 AMAs.

LOL @ all the snafus with the Pussy Cat Dolls’ chair falling, one of Snoop’s dancers almost tripping and all the other things that can only happen with a live show.

Overall, a very entertaining night. They kept bringing it with the performances.

The AMA’s was pretty good this year compared to the last 4 or 5 years.

GLad Beyonce opened the show with a mellow song….much different and she did a FABULOUS JOB! I couldn’t see the lace front..she just looked DMAN HOT & she can really sing.

Loved Jay’s performance ( My sister’s friend was dancing or playing the sax in the backgroud ) however from a TV standpoint, it could have been more energized..however I heard from some people that went that is was pretty damn good. When you got that certain something.. you don’t have to do much! He had the entire audience standing for the entire song.

AKON and SNOOP were WHACKED. I hate Akon’s voice..why does everybody love the stripper man?? Snoop is always cool but the stripers really spoiled their set.

Overall the show was really nice. Everyone looked good. I’m glad it wasn’t just about one genre of music. Everyone represented. I especially liked Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Keshia Cole looked nice even though she didn’t perform. I agree about Snoop and Akon’s performance…Snoop needs to stop with the strippers and hoes fascination…it’s really getting old…..what is he like 40 yrs old now?
