Okay, I’m all for people expressing their opinions. Of course everybody doesn’t like Beyonce. That’s expected. But if you look at the people with multiple posts on this post, you would see that they are non-Beyonce fans who keep coming back to call her fans “stans.” If you don’t like her, fine. Why not say your piece and move on? Why continue to post about her? I’m not an Ashanti fan, and I promise you she won’t have my attention the way Beyonce has the attention of some of you non-fans.

I love Beyonce, as a celebrity/entertainer, she’s always stood out to me.

Someone mentioned OSCAR…I can’t remember the poster, but let me say this to you: SIT DOWN. *lol* Even Beyonce has acknowledged that getting an Oscar is a goal she would like to accomplish “later on”. Will she get nominated? I don’t know, but I’ll let you know after I see the film. I think it’s kind of early for her to ‘win’ one, so again I say, SIT DOWN.

Another poster called her a “Legend”…to this poster, I say too, SIT DOWN. Beyonce’s got another 2/3 albums to pull out of her before I (and probably a host of others and hell, probably Beyonce herself!) will consider her a legend. So SIT DOWN…I understand your enthusiasm, but SIT DOWN and STAY SEATED. *lol*

All in all, thanks for the pics. She’s a beautiful girl, very talented, definitely a ’star’, but she’s got more work to do…and again, I think even she will agree with me that she has more work to do, more things to prove/accomplish before ’she’ SITS DOWN and is dubbed a Legend or an Oscar winner.

As for the pics, they are safe…safe beautiful photos of Beyonce…safe photos, of which she takes a lot of. I’d personally like to see her do a more ‘edgy’ photoshoot or video. Something sci-fi, something gritty, something different than just ‘plain ole pretty’. But that’s just my opinion.

In my openion, these photos look very bland especially for such a high magazine.

Her mother is a huge influence on the way she looks. They mirror each other. I love Tamia and think she is so under rated. There is more to Tamia than what we see. She has a husband, children, and now we know she is fighting MS. She is very beautiful and can sing her but off. She is a real artist because she seems to sing because she has it in her soul and she is not prancing around trying to be something she is not.

I think black women of all shades are beautiful but unfortunately this image of B is one of the reasons mainstream American still has hesitations in embracing the darker complexioned woman.

People need to look deeper than what these magazines give out. These magazines want us to believe these false images so they can SELL us the fantasy.
These false images make young people doubt themselves and even hate themselves.

One last thing about companies paying for the hair to represent their product. They are paying for the STAR POWER because they know that many black women do not have hair like this. They are betting that her popularity will bring them more sales. This is true for any famous person endorsing a product. It is not about them…it’s about who can sell the most.

I like that dress on the cover. It’s good to see a sista on the cover of the high top fashion magazines. It just seems the only people they put on the covers are Lindsey Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Paris, Britney. All these chicks with reputations.

I mean damn, sometime when i listen to beyonce’s music, it seems like it’s for “simple-minded” people cause she always has a lot of bells and whistles in the background with immature lyrics. LMAO! It’s crazy how someone like Beyonce has worked for years to get onto the covers of mainstream magazines and someone like Jessica Simpson who has never had anything close to Beyonce’s film or music success graces these types magazines on the regular.

I’m not a stan, but I give Bee her props, because for a black woman (regardless of how light you are), to make it in mainstream entertainment you have to be best and work twice as hard. When we see the Paris’, Jessica’s, Lindsays etc. (all of whom have not been working at this as hard and as long as Beyonce) on these magazines we just take it as a given. But when we see one of our own we’re like “she’s over exposed”!?!? I say go head girl. This child has never done ½ the obnoxious things most celebrities her age are doing and she is actually talented.

I agree, her outfit and hair choices can sometimes be wack, her personality is not necessarily exciting, her interviews aren’t particularly engaging, some of her song are down right simple, but she has plenty of other redeemable quality’s.
