I can say that I am not a Ciara fan, but I believe she is going to be very big. The reason I say this is because she is beginning to draw a lot of negative attention that all popular celebrities get. Once you’re talked about all the time, then you know you’ve made it.

From the snippets I can’t say i’m that impressed. But I do like Promise, and she has become a better artist. I’ve said some negative stuff about her, but hell normal people have to deal with it. I know her dream is to sing (even though she is clearly not that talented in that) but she makes her music sound damn good. Every song climbs the chart quickly. So I hop The Evolution does well.

Her personality I can’t get with. She claims to be too innocent, with saying sex before marriage isn’t right. But they way she dances says come and get me (especially in the promise video when she’s on the wall). But hell sex sells.

And stop comparing her to Aaliyah. Everybody can dance nowadays. That doesn’t mean that they are trying to be her. But the “Get Up” video reminded me of “Try Again”. “Promise” is almost a Dup of Aaliyah. But that’s her style, so work it.

i’m kind of feeling it,probably early as next week her whole album gone leak.

The one thing that sets Ciara apart is the production on her album. She picks songs that work with her voice. She knows she is not a vocal powerhouse, so she chooses songs where she doesn’t really have to sing, she can kinda just talk through it. The production of these few songs are great. My favorites are “Like A Boy” and “C.R.U.S.H.”

1) no one said Ciara was the greateset ranged singer, but damn it, its not all about range but tone too. i also heard sum of her other songs and she surprised me on her ranged in the song “Insecure”.im still not saying shes a whitney houston but not everyonecan sing her song. ciara is a great singer- im not just talking range, but period, the point of singing is to get a melodic point across to the listens without hurting someones ears which she does just fine and which sum of yall haters can’t do. also singing is to make the listeners feel an emotion which she does.she has a smooth voice which her fans luv. were not all the same, i wouldnt want to hear evryone screaming with their high range hint…… christina aguilera, lov her tho.and thanks to the person who brung up beyonce. beyonce is agreat singer but if you make 1/3 gud songs and the rest bad it wont sell no matter how well you look and can sing.
