I was at that concert last Saturday cause I go to FAMU. Nas wasnt even suppose to come out. He only came out cause Kelis was so terrible and he was tryin to help her out. Lil Wayne’s performance was fiyah. This is T.Is third time at our homecoming so seeing him was nothing new…and I left at the beginnging of Dro’s performance. Plies was there also, he was filming part of his video for his first single.

To all who ask what does Nas see in Kelis I met Kelis a couple times a few years ago when a friend of mine who was signed to Arista used to go to the Neptunes studio in VA to work on her album and Kelis is actually very funny and quite intelligent. I can’t remember all the details but I remember her saying that her family was very much involved in the arts which rubbed off on her. Nas not being your typical superficial rapper probably saw beyond the looks (don’t get me wrong Kelis is quite pretty) and was captivated by her personality.
