She does look good, this is her FIRST baby..& most times FIRST PREGNANCIES are pretty good to a womans figure, but she still has some months to go (lets give her BELLY more time to grow)She has to be about 5 or 6 months in these photos (maybe 4 months). I did read your entire comment but its obvious you didnt read mine. I responded to what I wanted to respond to in regards to a couple of posts. What if marriage doesnt work? What if the world ends? Whats your point? They are not married so why ask about the divorce? The future is not promised to anybody but she is pregnant today and today she is an unwed mother. Not a good look.

OK…Saying that people should try to wait to have children after they are married IS NOT degrading to anyone in any way. It is not WRONG to try to raise the standards for our children and for our race.

How can so many of you reasonably argue that marriage doesn’t matter? Have you seen how many of *our* kids are struggling socially, economically and emotionally? How many of our young, black males who are in prison will tell you that their fathers weren’t around? Yes, it is true that marriage holds no guarantees, but it DOES indicate a desire on some level by BOTH parents to stick together and TRY to do what’s right. I am not speaking from a religious standpoint, but rather a common sense standpoint.

If two people are so unsure of whether or not they can get along enough to remain partners forever in marriage, why on EARTH would you think they can successfully raise kids together FOREVER? Why would anyone want to put their kids through, “OK, you staying with ya Daddy this weekend, and I’ll have you next weekend?”

For me, this discussion isn’t about LaLa and Carmelo (although they are role models for kids…like it or not), but it is about the state of the black family in general. I guess I just don’t understand why we don’t expect more from ourselves. Our goals as a community are so low. We can do so much better.

I know I’m gone get put on blast, but…for me, it’s not even about the adults…I just hate seeing our kids lag behind EVERY OTHER RACIAL GROUP in the U.S. in terms of education sytems, economic opportunities and respect. Society isn’t treating our kids right and we’re not helping by having weak family structures to raise our kids and deal with these tough issues.

OK…now, having said that, I *AM* happy for Lala and Carmelo (as I said in my very first post). Ya’ll know no matter how mad black folks get, we always welcome our new family members with open arms.

I think La La is a very beautiful woman and I am happy for her and Carmelo Anthony, but I agree with the people who said that they should have married before he got her pregnant. She does carry her pregnancy well. I hope she has a girl because Carmelo looks like a dyke to me, so if they have a boy, he is going to look very girlish!

Rumor has it Carmelo is officially done with his fiance of almost 3 years LaLa. They got engaged in 2004 and STILL hadn’t set a date. Sources tell me he is done with her pressuring him into the marriage and her lates trick (this unplanned pregnancy) was the last straw. He has supposedly called off the engagement and the relationship as of ths week. Given, he has told the media he is happy about the pregnancy and can’t wait for the baby, but behind closed doors, I hear he’s pissy.

Mayne why won’t the truth just come straight out? Is it me or is it nt me? But I think it is quite obvious that LaLa is a gold digger….A lil to obvious. I can give reasons in why and show you how damn slow Carmelo is…….

Reason #1: Carmelo anthony is 6 years younger than her. Do you honestly think that LaLa will be with him if Carmelo wasn’t a NBA player worth millions of dollars? Hell No….if he was a college basketball plyer not making anything…She wouldn’t even be with him…..AT ALL.

Reson#2: Back then LaLa said she did not want to get pregnant because it was stress. Now look at her! she is pregnant.

Reason#3: LaLa had worn this shirt that said “Rich Bitch”….Lol why she didn’t wear a shirt like that when she was with Sugar Jay? Because he barley got as much money as Melo….Because she really is after that millions of dollars?

Reason#4: She put on this act like she is really in love with him. I’m a female I know what us females are capable of doing. We can easily manipulate a guy’s mind and take control and make him think we really do love him…Until we are done with our dirty work and take what we want and leave him. And that is what LaLA is doing. I mean hell she even got his name tattoed on her wrist….It makes it even more obvious…Sooo by doing that she can convince people she really does love him and really crazy about him.

Reason#5: When LaLa was with Sugar Jay she didn’t blab her mouth about being engaged to him. She didn’t get his name tattoed on her body…They just seperated and LaLa already with Melo like months later.

Reason#6: She is desperately trying to get Melo to marry her….When he wasn’t ready to married that summer…LaLa was mad….And now Carmelo is maturing “just a lil” And realising…”Hey what is the rush if you really love me you’ll wait on me”…Sooo LaLa gets mad…She lies about being on her birth control pills or drugged Melo’s drink…And got pregnant.

Reson#7: I honestly do not think Melo is dumb enough to bang LaLa in bed and not use protection…..Lets be real being a father was not on Melo’s agenda…not any time soon……Basketball was his number one priority…not having LaLa’s baby.
