Then, when she had to promote this last album, she blathered on and on about loving JD and how much weight she lost, appearing half naked on King, Vibe, etc., and disrespected longtime fans like me by barely addressing the album itself. That let me know that her album wasn’t worth buying. Why would I, as a 30 year old woman who has been listening to Janet for most of my life, run out and buy her album because she showed me her tits to prove how great she looks at 40? She tarnished her own legend status by trying to compete at the level of Ciara, Britney, and other 20 somethings, the very ones that look to her as a role model for their own careers. If I wanted to listen to an album made by a 20 year old with all the accompanying experiences, then I would buy it. Janet needs to be on some grown and sexy woman shit and she wasn’t.

Justin’s CD suffered from what a lot of albums suffered from this year, NOT BEING COHESIVE. There are great moments, but then the CD goes on a tangent. Same thing happened to Bee. Same thing happened to Christina.

These younger artists try to be different so hard that they don’t realize the CD comes out somewhat lacking.
