According to Illseed from Allhiphop.com, AJ & Free might be making a comeback to the 106 & Park stage. Word is the ratings are horrible with the new hosts Rocsi & Terrence, so BET execs are trying to see how they can fix this problem. I actually like Terrence, but Rocsi needs to go. We’ll keep you posted on this.

106 & Park has been pretty lame ever since Terrence n Rocsi started hostin, so I agree they need 2 change hosts…but Free & AJ? they were both kind of lame to begin with imo. Isn’t Free like 45 and sum change? I am glad that AJ got rid of the dread-row-corn-locks thing he was rockin tho cus that was definetly not a good look.
Now that’s what I’m talking about!!! I hope this is true. 106 & Park is not the same. The only time I watch it is to see Freestyle Friday….and that is rare. Bring ‘em back!

The hosts they have now are just not that interesting. Tigga was actually much better than AJ in my opinion, but Free was the best female on that show.
it’s not just the hosts, it’s also whomever is writing their questions and other material. a lot of it just sounds dumb. and i agree with angel.la, terrance is cool.
it might also be because of the whack music that has been coming out. who even bothers to watch 106 when you can catch the videos on youtube. they aren’t really giving people a reason to want to watch anymore.
and lastly, i don’t think aj would comeback. and if he does, he’s crazy. the dude is on access hollywood, or one of those high rated entertainment news shows.
I’d start watching it again if AJ and Free comes back. Because now I really only watch it for the new joints or if my fave artist is making an appearance.
Oh, and don’t start hating on Aj or Free. You know they did their thang. And it doesn’t matter how old either of them are, they were able to connect with everyone. That is what BET needs. Too bad they couldn’t get a show together on another station. That would really kill 106′s ratings. BET shouldn’t have messed them over in the beginning……hummm, if I were them would I come back?
I hope this is true because I don’t even watch 106 & Park anymore since they have left. The new hosts are boring. I would be happy if they just bring Free back because I would tune in just to see what shoes she was rocking that day.

Never was a big AJ fan, but Free was good, and he was ok with her. Tigger and Julissa grew on me, but I think Tigger was too old for 106 and park. These new hosts are the worst! I’m not feeling Rocsi and Terrence need more coaching or something. It seems like they just threw them on there.

I was never a big 106 fan, but those new hosts need to be on cable access or something. I say bring them back for a year or 2 then hire some fresh new TALENT.
106 hasn’t been the same since Free and AJ left. Tigga held it down (don’t know why he left) but I think Rocsi and Dude just don’t have that spark.

i definetly agree with #13 & #14. i would love to see free come back-but with big tigger, that would be hot! and maybe with terrance as like the side host who does entertainment news and interviews the audience members and maybe does like a back-stage/behimd the scenes segment with the guests. but roci has got to go–im sorry but she just doesn’t do a good job. free and big tigger have good chemistry with the hosts and the viewers. what yall think???
Rocsi is easy on the eyes, but she never has anything intelligent to say if isn’t written for her on the cards or the monitor. Free, AJ and mainly Tigger are friends with the artists that come to 106, so naturally they were never star-struck in the presence of the celebs/artists, like how Terrance and Rocsi are.

106 & Park just went down hill after Free & AJ left. And it got worse when Tigga & Julissa left. So hopefully BET can fix, and maybe get Free & AJ back, because they were the best so far.

I think that after the interview in VIBE magazine. I feel that this is just a rumor. They were the best hosts for the show. I no longer watch the show because it has no flavor. Free and AJ appealled to an older audience. The show is now aimmed at the high school students. I think that they both feel that their time on 106 has run it’s course. I think that they should move on.
They are going to be paid like the cast of Grey’s Anatomy.

I never knew why they left in the first place. The only thing I remember hearing was there were problems with AJ & Free and the producers. Anyone know what happened? If they still want to keep 106 on the air, I suggest they come at AJ and Free with the best deals they can. Because without them, 106 ain’t hittin on $hit and the ratings just proves it. They probably would have good chemistry as hosts. I am totally dis statified with the BET channel. All they show is the Wayans and Jaime Fox. They need to make so kind of changes!!! Until they do, I will not be watching that station.
I really like Terrence. He is too cute to me. Rocsi doesn’t really have a strong presence, so I don’t feel one way or another about her. I liked AJ & Free, but it would be weird with them coming back. I’m not sure that would work, either. Too much water under the bridge. There’s been too much drama between Free leaving/getting booted, her album (which still hasn’t appeared), Jay Z rumors, both AJ & Free getting booted. It would just be strange.
But hey, I’m game for whatever. I don’t really care one way or another.

I don’t watch it. Screaming, hyper kids aren’t my thing. But this is a good look for 106. It’s sooooo obvious that Terrance & Rocsi are star struck rookies.
Isn’t it ironic that y’all are “So Excited” (pun intended) to see these two older people come back to a show that caters to a younger crowd REGARDLESS of their age, but many of you who are hyped about this prospect are in the same lot who want Janet to go away because of HER age…. as she was “too old” to appeal to that very same demographic.
