I’m really happy Darius McCrary has finally spoke about this HIV rumor that has been flying around the net for the past couple of months. I swear I get about 10 e-mails about it everyday. Anyway, he talked with Jawn Murray from the BV BUZZ to finally set the record straight.
The bogus e-mail said the popular actor of had AIDS and created a fictitious scene of how the female making the accusation discovered his illness moments before an unprotected sexual encounter, by going through his medicine cabinet after getting a headache..
“I don’t want to give the person too much energy who did it, but it’s definitely a bunch of bull. It’s totally not true,” McCrary told me via cell phone from Los Angeles late last week. The actor couldn’t imagine how someone could be cruel enough to fabricate such an e-mail and doesn’t believe he’s ever done anything to warrant such backlash. “Only thing I am guilty of is loving ladies! And maybe loving them too good..”
Now if people would stop sending me that image/video of Jay-Z slapping a woman, come on yall that shit is old!
To make up a rumor like that is not cool at all foreal. The power of the Internet can make or break you.

I think as long as there are celebrities there will always be rumors. I admit I enjoy the blind items and we have a good time on the emails trying to figure it out but even those are fat fetched at times. I am glad he came out and cleared it up though. There was an email going around saying that Jaleel White was gay and it was pictures of him and two other guys and I have to admit I stared hard at those pics trying to figure out if it was him. In the end it wasnt him some guys that resembled him somewhat. The media and internet can be nasty, vicious and cruel. I guess the best thing to do is ignore more of the rumors and not even address them if your a celebrity.
It’s not like Darius McCrary is Will Smith or Jamie Foxx. He isn’t a big box office star. Either it’s true or hell really has no fury like a woman scorned.

@49-Vera. I remember hearing that as well. He/his family are deeply religious and that premarital sex was an abomination. He also said that he would remain a virgin until marriage. He’s not married, so why not reiterate on that statement instead of announcing he “loves the ladies”. That would have made him more believable.

You guys are correct it does lies dormant for a while. If the email is true, one would think that you took preventative measures to ensure she does not get infected.
I know several people that have succumb to AIDS and I know several folks who are HIV positive. Sad to say that the one’s who are HIV positive do not reveal their status to new partners and some have unprotected sex.
Today, 30 percent of new HIV cases in the US are female. Of these newly infected women, 63 percent are African American.
As I am posting on CL there is an article on yahoo news that states AIDS may become the no. 3 killer in the world. Here is a snippet of the the article:

1st of all, if tha chick had a headache, she must not have been in the mood 2 give his azz none. 2nd of all if she really did have a headache & wanted 2 give him sum, y didn’t she ask him for sum aspirin or sumthin, & last but not least, how in da hell did she know that the so called medicine that she found was for HIV? Darius needs to stop lying. He has told close friends about his status and he still sleeps with women raw. He is trying to save face and reputation because when this story first hit months ago, why was he silent? When u have a accusation like this hangin over your head, you come out defending yourself, left and right. But then again, I’m not shocked, a lot of people in Hollywood lie about their status because they don’t want to be stigmatized in work or stigmatized in their personal life.

When I heard about the rumor I was in shock but did not believe it. I said I needed a credible source to show me it was true. That is just out right wrong for someone to make up such a lie. EVIL. Any way all will be good just know God believes you and I do too.

i have no idea if this story is true the only thing that i can say is that there is probably someone woman or man who has lived, is living, or is going to live a story like this and it is sad.
Well, I had just read an e-mail sent to me in regaurd to this situation with Darius. In that e-mail he denied it even when the accuser knew that he did have it. The point is that you NEVER know unless the person that you’re going to be intimate with is upfront and trueful, but the problem with being truthful about having HIV/AIDS is that people will automatically treat that person as though breathing the same air can pass it along. Therefore, to all that read this…PROTECT YOURSELF!!! It’s not just for you, but for the other people that you may become intamite with as well (b/c 1 + 1 could ultimately equal 10,000)
