From what I understand, this “weapon” was not even on his person. It was in his CHECKED luggage. He was not trying to smuggle it on the plane. If that is the case, this is complete bullshit.

He’s an idiot. As someone who flies commercially he should know the rules and know that he is not exempt from them. If he wants to carry a collapsible baton then perhaps he should charter a private plane. Checked luggage or not…rules are rules. Especially after 9/11.

This could have all been avoided, so its his loss. Hopefully he learns his lesson. But it is kind of dumb that they wait all this time to press charges. Being a celeb sure does have its perks.
