I like Beyonce and JHud (don’t really know Anika Rose), but all I want to say about B is that she needs to take some public speaking classes. Everytime she does an interview, the only thing she can say is, “It was just AMAZING”. I started to grind my teeth everytime she said that yesterday. And its definitely not the first time. Anytime she has an interview she always says the same thing. I don’t think she knows how to speak very well. And that is JUST MY OPINION.

IMO, Paramount did what they thought would bring the most att to the movie. They got Beyonce, but at the same time they knew that Jennifer Hudson could sang and was gonna show her ass in the movie. Bee is what is going to sell tickets but Jennifer is the one who is going to get her Oscar Nomination. If it was just J-Hud and some other stars I don’t think it would have this much buzz.

I saw this, and it was a great epiosode of Oprah! Everyone looked great, I am a B fan, she SANG her azz off on “Listen”. Her voice brings tears to my eyes. Jennifer Hudson is indeed a rising star, who we will be seeing more of I am sure, and the other young woman, Anika Rose, she was beautiful, and I like her attitude, she was very real. I cannot wait to see this movie. And, I can only stand in awe everytime Beyonce sings LIVE, its like the 1st time every time.. LOL Great cast and I am lookgin forward to this Great moview/ the ALL BLACK Cast!

Anyways Beyonce has not said that she was going to win an Oscar for this movie. As a matter of fact in her nightline interview she did last night she said she would love to have an Oscar someday but Dreamgirls is NOT the movie. She has to work on it a lot more. All of you Beyonce “Stans” need to sit your asses down! She’s pretty, can sing and is the current “it girl”. Other than that she is human…not immortal. She will at times- have an off day, make a bad wardrobe choice and generally fall short of ridiculous expectations!

I will agree with some of the other posts- the pink and red outfit looked like a Vegas cocktail waitress dress. The black dress was a much better choice.

Another observation: There seemed to be some underlying competition between her and J Hudson. Jennifer was very gracious about the comparisons, but the fake hugs/smiles were all around. I guess the statements that Jennifer “stole the show..was the break out performer…deserved the Oscar nod”, didn’t play well with Bey.

I finally saw the Oprah episode and B did look like she wasn’t excited to be there. She surely wasn’t giving Jen the same love that Oprah and the audience was giving Jen. She actually seemed uncomfortable when they kept applauding Jen.

I saw the movie for the second time today and let me tell you guys who haven’t seen it yet you are really missing out on a big, big film. Jennifer was great I hope she gets all the recognition she earned and deserves despite her being a newcomer. Indeed she put all her heart and soul into it and we felt it. This is truly her season and indeed her time to shine, so lets support her and be happy for her. I know she’s happy, a little bit frightened, nervous and excited just going through a lot of different emotions right now.
