As for me, I’m definitely diggin what Shareefa’s bringin to the table. Her album? Phenomenal. I bought it expecting it to be trash, I’m not even gonna lie. “Need A Boss” was a fly single, no doubt, but in no way was I expecting the album to be so real, so soulful… I agree with all of you who are comparing her to Miss Mary J. – She’s got it. Every song is hot. Point of No Return is one of those albums that you can just pop in and vibe to all the way through. Omgawd, and this is totally off topic but “Trippin’” is my SONG! Shareefa is the real deal. I think SlimKim needs to re-evaluate :-\

I really like the song and the video. It reminds me a lot of Alicia Keys’ video “If I Ain’t Got You Baby”. I don’t really care too much for her asymetrical haircut, but she looks really pretty at the end. She is definitely a breath of fresh air as opppossed to some other artists out there.

I’ve been a Mary fan since Father MC days when she was singing background. Mary is most definitely the Queen of Hip Hop Soul. Now there are a few princesses that are ready to step up the plate (when the time comes). And I think Shareefa is and will remain to be one of them. She is a chick that sings from her soul and you can hear it…..
