Go Tamia. Now this is how you do a grown and sexy video. Leave a little something to the imagination. I was listening to her album the other day and she has some good songs on it. I do believe she is underrated but I’m also glad that she hasn’t changed her style just to sell records. I am also very glad that her MS isn’t keeping her down.

i totally agree she’s underated and maybe she’ll get props when people see through the smoke screen of big hair, barely there clothes and see simply a singer. you have to have that balance everyone is not the same. i hops she prospers with this project and maintain good health.

@ Mika,u r right there’s quite a number of very talented artists who come up with hot stuff but they are just not exciting themselves…to mention a few… Faith Evans, Amel Larriouex-from Groove Theory, Donell Jones -imo..Puff Johnson(whatever happened to her) Olleta Addams (y’all probably forgot about her)and others. These artists we love their stuff but we rarely talk about them or even want to talk about them because they are simply BORING ..that is the hard part of being in the limelight…getting people interested not only in your music but you as well…

I know quite many people who have bought between Friends are are very excited about it. I have a copy myself and have been playing it since it released around July. I cannot see this video right now, but I’m sure it’s cool…most of her videos have been good.

On a previous post regarding Beyonce’s Elle Cover, a stupid person wrote “who is Tamia”..”and whoever she is her album will flop”…..Tamia’s name came up as a comparison of vocal talent to Beyonce…who by the way they both can sing.

This person tried to diss Tamia while saying they did not know who she was.

I hope the Bitch sees her now. There are a lot of people who love Tamia and think she is great.

I think she needs some aggressive promo people.

Advice to the person who dissed her….before putting someone down…have a good reason to do so…..Hell just have “a” reason. Don’t just diss on someone and you say you don’t know who they are.

You do your thing beautiful Tamia. Keep doing what you love. It’s a tough business but she won’t give up and she does not seem to want to compromise her intergrity by showing all of her privacy just to sell records….but then again…maybe that’s whats holding her albums back.

Ah man I played this shit one morning before I went to work, I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. It usually takes a couple of listens before that happens. This is a great song.

i do agree that tamia should boost the promotion dramatically, she needs to be in every shop/tv programme/media event promoting her music GLOBALLY, too many talented artists fail to do that.

Tamia is the most underrated singer out there. Everything she comes out with is always hot, but she never got the same recognition Beyonce gets.

Maybe it is promotion, or lack there of. Whatever it is, she needs to find the formula because the music world is being deprived.

I was just reading the comments and seen that alot of people feel Tamia’s boring. Hmmmm, wonder why!!!!

Could it be because we’ve gotten all mixed up in the hype and commercialism of music. The entertainers out now are all about marketing, loud whistles and bells, and now, we’ve gotten so enthralled in thinking that’s music, that we can no longer recognize a really good musician/vocalist! This is exactly what i knew would happen, and that’s why i don’t care for beyonce’s music cause while i think she’s talented, i think she does alot of things via her music (childish gimmick-like songs with childish hooks, a whole lot of bells and real whistles in the background) which actually distracts from her beautiful god-given voice. But for some reason, she feels doing so gives her an edge, and she’s absolutely right according to her devout fans and record sales. However, i don’t give extra credit for shit like that. People thinking that’s the way a performer is suppose to perform and that’s the way a bangin track is suppose to sound…but she’s all commercial and hype with all the bells and whistles! Tamia is a real artist with natural sex appeal and a god-given beautiful voice. What constitutes her being boring! It was good enough a few years ago, she sounds the same, what’s the problem! It’s because the industry/music scene has changed for the worst in my opinion.

In my opinion, the bar has been raised, and not in a good way, that now, if you don’t move and shake and sing loudly, you aren’t considered a “real entertainer” and people more than likely won’t buy your cd, labeling you boring. Bunch of bullshit out now. I wish the other artists like toni braxton, thank god mariah is already back, brandy, anita baker, tamia (finally) and artists like these come back. No bells and whistles to distract you, just good music.

Tamia has a beautiful voice, but i feel it has been wasted on a mediocre 1st single. THis song sounds more of an album filler, not a bad album filler, but an album filler non the least.

Tamia has great range, and i really wish she released a ballad showcasing that more.

As well the video is kindof boring, the scenes are very repetive. I dont like how it was directed.
