I think its time that I contribute to the ‘Who Rock’d It Better’ posts being the big fashion junkie I am. I remember numerous times I’ve caught celebs rocking the same outfit.
Here’s one in particular that I remember, its an oldie but goodie. Once again Beyonce is first up wearing this gorgeous Valentino gown to the 2004 BET Awards. The following year, top model Eva Pigford wore the same dress to the 2005 Soul Train Music Awards. Who do you think rock’d it better?
I suggest Beyonce asks her Mom to make her dresses more often because girlfriend just can’t stay away from these posts lol.
EVA, only because her skin tone makes the dress have a life alont with how she’s looking. Beyonce…should have done more with her hair

I think Beyonce wins this one, she fills the dress better than Eva and she doesn’t look to fat in it. Good thing she’s not show her elephant knees or tree trunk legs. I think if Kimora or Halle or even Gabrielle were wearing this they’d both lose.
I think that it goes to Beyonce cuz the dress fits her curves, and it looks like it fits her figure. But Eva is still beautiful.
I agree with daredd1. I think this dress is more flattering on a slimmer, less shapely figure and in this case that would be Eva.
I love Eva’s skintone against the color of the dress, but she didn’t have the dress fitted to her at all: the hem is too long for her hight and the bodice does not fir her frame. Because of tat i have to say Beyonce won this one.

Beyonce wins it but Eva also looks great — the color looks beautiful against Eva’s skintone. I think the thing with Beyonce is that the dresses must be custom tailored to her — they always fit her perfectly. The other women (Kimora and now Eva) don’t seem to have worked on those little details. Beyonce (and her stylists) has the pull and the fashion sense to have designers alter the dresses right onto her body and it shows in the fit — which is always perfect.

I agreed with the number 1 comment before even reading it. Eva has it hands down because it’s way more complimentary to her skin tone and figure. Beyonce just looks like Beyonce with another dress on.
I have to laugh everytime I read these posts from people who sware they are best friends with Beyonce referring to her as “Bey” or “Bee”–the Beyonce worship by some of the posters on this site really irks me. There were and still are other beautiful black women in the world before Beyonce became famous.
And for those of who will undeniably say, “You just hatin’” or “You just jealous”….try again.

I honestly don’t know. I think the top looks better on Be but the other half looks sloppy. On Eva is looks elegant but she’s lacking something.

i think in long fitted dresses like these bey will always look better than some one who is slimmer with less curves. I just dont think the flat chest straight up and down figure works here – sorry eva!
Eva is fine and all, but Beyonce got this one. B’ is filling the dress up top, and it looks too long on lil E. But again, both of them sexy as hell!

Beyonce definitely. They both look good…but Beyonce has a few more curves, which accents the dress better.
Beyonce got this one and I usually think her curves are too much in some dresses but this dress makes Eva look like she’s playing dress up in her moms dress. The dress has nothing to grasp. It cuts around beyonce’s breast perfectly, but is all under Eva’s arm pit full of air.

Eva takes the cake. And for the record, Eva’s dress isn’t too long for her. Her dress has a train on it. This is an extension of the fabric that is supposed to drag on the ground gracefully as the wearer walks.
I have to say Beyonce, because her curves fill out the dress better. Like everyone has said, it looks gorgeous on Eva’s skintone, but the overall look has to be Beyonce. She looks gorgeous.
