The 2006 Billboard Awards aired last night from Las Vegas. I tried to watch it but, was pretty much a yawner with a few exceptions like Janet opening the show, Mary J. Blige performing and Rihanna popping up.
Infact, Mary came up big last night, winning nine awards – she deserves it. The surprise of the evening? Chris Brown won for artist of the year…

Wow, almost everyone looks nice, except for dumb-dumb, I mean Flava Flav. Rihanna looks like a whole different person. I like the look but she needs a new hairstyle. Her forehead is too big for a part down the middle. No hate, I’m a hair stylist. A swoop bang would be betetr. Love Janet’s look, Mary (of course), Luda, Chris.
It was only worth watching the first five minutes.

the show was a HOT MESS! All of the performances weren’t good, nothing special to rave about. The award show looked out of place with host, basically had the announcer doing the whole damn show.
Why in the hell was Young Jeezy performing? Wack song=wack performance. I couldn’t hear what he was saying and I don’t know why Luda did the song with Young Jeezy and then Money Maker…that shit was so WACK!
Mary performance was same o same o, with the walking around the stage and trying to sing the highest high note(as usual singing out of her range and off key)

Fergie, well I thought she was going to do a good job, but she was just standing in one particular place and was acting like if she move, she might sing a note off key.
gwen stefani- needs to switch it up for the award performance coz her routine is gettin old already(for such a weak song)
overall best performance was janet jackson, even though she still lip-syncing as usual and u still couldn’t even hear her clearly, looking like the corpse bride(LOL)

Mary looked good on stage. That was probably one of the best performances Ive seen of hers…She looked great and sounded great. She doesn’t need 50 people on stage with her, she can hold it down by herself. Also glad she did ‘ Take Me As I am ‘
