She talked about her reaction to be nominated for a Golden Globe, and mentions that she knows she has no chance up against Meryl Streep. Glad she knows better…

I thought the video was beautiful and artistic. To say a woman looks like a man trying to look like a woman is rather insane although I have seen it done.. just not in this video… the girl is beautiful… GET OVER IT!. Bey can work THE HELL OUTTA A DRESS. She gets the “U BETTA WORK AWARD”. In regards to her acting if she takes more classes and devotes time to her craft she could be a force in Hollywood. Not because she’s cute, or has a manager that goes out for blood (Papa Knowles), but because she’s a legitimate talent. She has a lot on her plate so I don’t think she’s studyin acting like she should. What people forget is that you can be a natural at something but you also need to develop your skills.

Because both videos are not big productions, so all you can focus on is Beyonce.
But in the other video–with her in the theater–she has on the gown and, to me, that’s distracting.
In this video, it’s only Beyonce from the waist up. You can’t help but focus on what she’s saying. She shows more emotion in this video.
In the other one, while it’s scaled down, it’s still too stylized.
This video, however, simply gets to the point.
And I like the very end, when she gives a little smile.
See, these are the types of videos and songs that she needs to do more often.
A lot of her other videos and songs are just too busy; there’s too much going on.
I think that if you’re really worth watching and listening to, you don’t need all of the bells and whistles, or alarms.

I love Beyonce. The woman is doin’ her thing. I’m proud of her. I look up to her she’s a great role model. I like the new video better because it incorporates more scenes from the movie. I can’t wait to see Dreamgirls. I’m goin’ to see the advanced screening on Saturday with my Mother. I don’t know about B winning the Oscar for her role, but I do think she has a chance for winning it for best original song “Listen”. She poured her heart into it. You can actually see it in both video’s. She’s amazing.
I like this version way better than the current one. It just seems so much more real and heartfelt, the other one is too faked,glammed and commercial like. I guess she used up all of her emotion in this one.JMO

For those of you who haven’t checked it out, be sure to check out that Beyonce interview on TV One with Cathy Hughes. I saw it last night. She puts alot of these stupid rumors about Jennifer Hudson and other crap to rest! She had nothing but the highest of praise for Jennifer. She conducted herself, as always, very well during that hour long interview.
Most of the people in the entertainment industry are giving her props for the role she played in Dreamgirls. Her cast members as well. As for the stupid rumor that she was mad b/c she didn’t get the starring role in the movie, she knew when she took it that hers was not the stand out role. She knew that was Jennifer Hudson’s role.
So bottom line, just stop all the foolish talking and trying to pit her and JHud against each other. If you haven’t already seen the movie, be sure to check it out on Christmas day and maybe, just maybe for ONE day, we can all stop the hate!

Look this is my opinion. I do not like the new version whatsoever, this is like a demo to all new movie director to show her tacky as* non acting talents “tears” so that she can get a movie role. I am glad that she did not win the global awards nor did she get nominated in the oscars. I used to love Beyonce to death until she started making all these conceited comments about herself and trust when I say those comments has definitely damaged her chances of winning. Here is my opinion to Ms. so called “I love target” Knowles, drop the acting and stick to singing and clothing designing. You will soon find yourself retiring alot early than expected.
