Musiq and I have a love-hate relationship, where I am really impressed with his voice, and the music at the beginning of his career, but then towards the middle, he’s kind of fallen off and messing up the words to the National Anthem and then making excuses for it. But I can’t even front, this is an excellent comeback song (with a good remix as well!). I am really impressed by this song. It’s well written, the production is flawless, and his vocal delivery impresses me like it did when he first dropped that single, “Sunny” (where is voice was similiar to that of De’Angelo’s!). I’m surprised it took me this long to post this song on the Loop. It’s dope stuff, a great single and return to the game, considering I’ve thought his more recent stuff was less than stellar.

MY RESPONSE: Asentha, Asentha, Asentha … It’s alright if you lash out at me. Did something I say hit home? I never cracked a comment about how Musiq looked. I never said one thing about his appearance, but on the other hand, you continue to talk about his flaw. I doubled checked both recent articles (comment sections) about Musiq and you didn’t say anything about Mu’s features. My bad. I apologize; it was an honest mistake. My comment should have been directed toward Ms_Mac1. You are the young lady who has an issue with Musiq forgetting the National Anthem. If I have insulted you in anyway, I apologize.

I love Musiq and it’s funny how the people that criticize him don’t have sh*t going for themselves…so isn’t a waste of time hatin on someone for something you can’t do. It’s great that some people know the words to the National Anthem, but how well can you sing it….can you get in front of hundreds of people and sing it, I mean really sing it. If you sound like Master P when you sing no one cares if you know the words or not, your getting booed. He’s a talented brother and the fact that people expect him to be perfect is a compliment to the brother. The fact that people have all his albums whether they like it or not is a compliment to the brother. The fact that we are even talking about him is a compliment to the brother because he’s on our minds. If you like him great, if you don’t that’s your perogative. But don’t be dissing the man’s eye and personal stuff like that….you never know, one of your kids might come out like that. Karma is a force to reckoned with…be careful what you say about people.
