Kelis & Vanessa Simmons walked the runway at a fashion show that benefited the Ronald McDonald House. I actually like Kelis’ new hair, it reminds me of her old style. I know yall remember when she use to rock her hair in green!
Designer Jay McCarroll walked with Kelis down the runway, she was wearing one of his designs.
Vanessa is a very pretty woman. Kelis should have lightened her eyebrows. I like the blue eye shadow tho.

I love Kelis to death. She’s my twin, but I like her better with dark hair. She just doesn’t look right to me with the blond so bright.

You are right – the blonde does sort of remind me of the throwback Kelis days but um, she needs a lil help with the color tho. Blonde will work but not the way it’s lookin in that pic. A good colorist would hook that up IMO.
I wouldn’t be shocked if she bleached it herself. Even if she didn’t, whatever, still love her style. The makeup is fierce!!!

I went to high school with Kelis… the LEGENDARY Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts aka “The FAME School” in NYC. Kelis rocked short blonde hair back then… and was JUST as stylish. What seems new to people is really her just takin’ it back to her “roots” so to speak. The haters just don’t understand!!!

Who cares what they look like, what color their hair is, or what they have on. They are doing something positive. Do you think Vanessa cares that you think she is not cute?
