I am really proud of Mary, it has been a long 15 years. She has evolved into a woman who deserves all of the accolades. I don’t watch the Grammy’s because the show is really boring but nonetheless I am happy for Mary. Oh and for the record, Justin don’t deserve a single one for his unoriginal album, sounds like some old Ginuwine records from 98′ mixed with Michael and a little Prince for flavor.

I think that Mary had a great album, just abotu every song that recived airplay become an instant hit.No she isnt the best vocalist by far but she does pour ger heart out in her songs ,and alot of peopel can relate to what shes singing about. She has coem alogn way from the Mary J that entered the business back in 92! She has conquered her addiction, low self esteem, relationship issues,and released her baggage. She has blossomed into real womanhood. I hope that she gets most if not all of the awards! I agree that Heather Headley and India Arie are deserving of the same honor but ya know this is the grammies,so they have to pick their one token black per show ,lol and well be lucky if several moreof our artist receive someraise.

Do any of you remember when Mary performed at the American Music awards several yrs back. She performed ‘no more drama’. It was electrifing. That night Yolanda Adams performed and it was also electrifing. Celene Dion was sitting in the front row. Both artists got standing ovations. Celene was standing and clapping with her mouth hanging open. You could tell everyone was moved by both of those performances.

I enjoy watching Mary perform. I am always hoping she will give a performance like the one I mentioned above.

I hope she performs at the Grammys this yr.

Amazing album, Go Mary! U deserve everything. Yes, I agree that she deserves these awards because nothing better came out this year. But that does not mean nothing else was not good! When u compare Mary to herself you understand the respect for this album; because honestly u cant compare her to anyone else. Shes in a league of her own. She can record whatever she wants and it will still sell, but she instead chooses to give it 110% all the time. Honestly, I saw Album of the Year, but the grammys you never know!
