Knowles slams rumours of Hudson rift

Beyonce Knowles has slammed rumours of a feud between herself and Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson, insisting there was no bad blood while filming the movie.

The Irreplaceable star claims she knew going in that her role playing Deena Jones was less dramatic than Hudson’s part as Effie White and she didn’t have a problem with it.

She explains, “I knew that the character that I played wasn’t the star. She wasn’t the underdog.

“She didn’t have the struggle and the pain and the dramatic scenes that Effie had, and I was fine with that.

“It’s really unfortunate that everyone is saying I’m jealous of Jennifer. It hurts my heart because it’s so cliched. They’re saying I’m mad when I knew going into this that I was playing Deena.

“Because I’m a star they just automatically assume that I’m not humble enough to sit down and take a back seat, which I am.”

It’s Fatima Robinson…and she’s done tons of work since Aaliyah’s passing.

She’s still doing choreography, but she’s actually dabbling in directing now. Her most recent project was directing the ‘Fergalicious’ video for Ms. Fergie.
So she has been keeping busy.

The minute I got to the part where Beyonce talked about gaining 20 pounds I was like “Whoa!!!” That is offensive because Jennifer is playing the role at her natural weight.

Second of all, Beyonce talks about how she was okay with coming in and playing a lesser role because she’s “already a star.” If that’s true, the ONLY reason why she didn’t have a problem with it is because she thought her star power would push her role as Deena front and center, regardless of how the role was written…she had no idea that Jennifer would come in and blow everyone away with her talent…if she had known that, do you really think a big “star” would come in an accept a lesser role? I doubt her dad would have agreed to that.

I am a Beyonce fan, but I’m a little put off by the comments she made in that article.

That “I’m already a star” comment. Beyonce, could you make it any more clearer about how threatened you feel by her? You remember how she kept bigging up dreamgirls and saying this is her first real movie and we would get to see her as an actress. As soon as props started going to JHud, she has to suddenly downplay Dreamgirls. She has to talk about being in other big budget movies and how she carried them. Beyance, I thought you initially donwplayed those previous movies. Suddenly, she has to talk about how this movie is not all about her and her role is not all that and then she suddenly only does the red carpet at the premiere and is not as interested in the movie anymore. Could you be that jealous, Bey that someone else is getting more shine? Grow up. Your time is up anyway. You could see the hate on Oprah and even looking at these pics, her body language says it all. Far away from JHud even when they take pics side by side. I ‘m already a star. Bitch, please get over yourself. In acting, you are not a star for your acting talent. Everyone knows you cannot act. I love how suddenly Beyonce uses her relationship with Jay-Z to explain her leaving early. In any other instance, mum is the word whenever it comes to them. I think it was a bit disrespectful to the entire cast for her to leave early - the night was for all of them.
