This look is definately more European. It is nothing new overseas. Matter of fact, a lot of super rich people dress like this. They don’t want to show they have money but for those who are aware of this hobo “I’m really not rich and stuck up” look, people know it is a fashion statement.

It is called Bourgeois Boheme.

You know, I think the jeans with the holes happened first because the jeans were old and then people took this look as fashion.

Somebody said man “thats hot” mixing it with 500.00 shoes. Jeans with holes are very expensive in some stores. Definately bohemian. I like the look. I think it looks cute on many different types of women because the style does not fit into one category.

Another thing that some people do in Europe is take an expensive apartment but do not buy a lot of furniture for it.

I absolutely LOOOVE NICOLE RICHIE’S STYLE. It’s very easy going, yet very Glamourous. Some of the things…like that boho dress, I might not wear. But I like how she accents her casual, boho outfits with accessories. And you don’t have to shell out $3000 for a bag, if u have style. You can also tell she’s confident in anything she wears, which makes it look so much better. I don’t care what ur wearing, If you don’t have a certain confidence level, or some type of swag, it’s hard to pull it off.

Wow, I’m 5 foot 7 and a size 6, so I guess, I would be busting out the seams if I tried to wear these types of outfits.

Over a size 5! Give me a break! I wear sizes between 8-10 (depends on the store, different store, different sizes, i h8 that!) and I know i would look good in what nic is rocking. I know certain pple cant wear certain things, but dont encourage tha thick sistas to go on the porcelin diet.

Excuse my shrewd comments, but IMO a woman with a size 26 and below waist looks better in these type of outfits, then a woman who is over a 28..Once you are a size 28 waist you are basically a skinny man…LOL…I mean really. I wear a 28, im a male…and im MAD SKINNY. I cant imagine a woman being my size though, especially since woman are suppose to be naturally smaller. Regardless, its something about a skinny woman in skinny clothes that just murders a thick woman in skinny clothing. Thick…U just cant rock it. BOTTOM LINE. Fat, u cant rock it. Stomach? You cant rock it…Very simple. Look at how those clothes cling to Nicole…Stick to loose fits fatties.

there’s a difference between skinny and anorexic…i’m more concerned with people being healthy…no one should want to be nicole skinny but you don’t have to be too big. i think she has great style though, but please just gain 20 pounds.

Lets talk pounds here. Or maybe even sizes. I would think that someone that wears anything less than 5 would be skinny, and anyone that wears over a size 20 could be called fat. I dont know.

Ill put it like this. Size 5 and below is what all women should achieve to be. You cant even buy designer clothes at a size 6 and above, because 9 times out of 10 the sample sizes stop at 4. As far as European waist size, for a man 32 and below is fly. For a woman 26 and below…BOTTOM LINE.

i seen people in size 14 wear skinny jeans and they look got to death!! I like 30-40lbs bigger than nicole richie, and i look good in this style. I dont think you have to be near skinny as nicle to rock her look! And about where she gets her money… She doesnt spend her daddys money, she has her own. Right now she is considered a “celebrity” and gets paid doing even appearances. @ Yina skinny is in…I’m not talking anorexic skinny..but skinny is in. When is the last time you’ve seen a fat successful movie star (and I am not talking about the women who are fat and play fat roles)?…ummm never. and you never will because fat will never be “in” it’s unhealthy and not attractive.
