Day break was one of my favourite new shows this year, I’m bummed that it got cancelled but I’m having a hard time believing that black women are responsible for it cancellation.

This was an action show (and not very good if you ask me), and most women don’t watch this stuff, black or white. 24 is popular with males and this type of show seems to be marketed the same way. Just because he takes his shirt off a few times does not make it a female show.

I liked Taye Diggs in Brown Sugar and I loved Kevin Hill (I think I was the only one watching). Intellectually, I know that his choice in a spouse or even in roles or co-stars shouldn’t matter.
However, my heart breaks and it’s like a slap in the face to see a black man marry a white woman.
It’s an anomaly to me, even thought I understand that it happens.
