TAYE DIGGS: “YOU CAN’T MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY..”
Monday, December 18, 2006

Taye Diggs and wife Idina Menzel back in April
Well I actually watched “Day Break” and it wasn’t all that to tell you the truth. Just like one of the people said in the interview, Taye Diggs is corny as hell and I could care less who he is married to. Maybe the show sucked, and deserved to be cancelled. I’ve seen better shows get the boot.
Anyway….
Last month he sat down with Rolling Out magazine to talk about why black woman are more accepting of the “Will Smith” & “Denzel” types:
“What [black women] were happy about was that [Mendes’ character in Hitch] wasn’t white; she was Latina,” Diggs explains when asked why Will Smith’s role in the film didn’t draw as much cultural ire as some of the choices he’s made on- and off-screen. “That’s what they were happy about, if we’re gonna be real. That’s how the scale goes. First off, if it’s a dark brother and the dark brother isn’t with a dark sister that causes issues. … After that, if you’re going to date outside the race, then they go down the list of how poorly other minorities have been treated after blacks. [So] after that, you have Latino. … Like, I’ve had people say that about my wife: ‘At least she looks Spanish.’ Like that makes it a little bit better. So that’s why people accepted it. If Will Smith had been with a lily-white woman, it would’ve been a completely different situation in the black community as far as females are concerned. I guarantee you that.” [SOURCE]
Here is when he got a little attitude when the interviewer asked him about his white wife:
“I’m too far along in my life and in my career to really give a question like that any type of dignified answer,” says Diggs, who was raised in black, middle-class Rochester, N.Y., intones. “When I was in high school, maybe. College, maybe. But I’m a grown-ass man and if people have a difficult time dealing with that, then I welcome them to see a movie with Omar Epps or Denzel Washington or some of those other brothers that have chosen to spend the rest of their lives with sisters, as you say. I just don’t have time for it. You can’t make everybody happy. And for the fans that are out there that are into me; they don’t really give a f— what’s going on with my personal life.” [SOURCE]
I’m sure this will spark debate, but yall better settle down with this one.

Seems to me Taye Diggs career started playing opposite some BIG name beautiful leading BLACK women. Black women audiences loved his acting and embraced his career choices. Now he’s received a little fame (thanks to BLACK WOMEN) but now feels as though we shouldn’t care if he jumps ship. There’s enough pretending in Hollywood by white people that racism doesn’t still exist let us not pretend in our own community. The reality is there are a lot of great Black women actresses that find it hard or can not get work (except for a Tylor Perry film). They don’t get recognized for their rolls and are often over looked for even the smallest of rolls in films today. I feel as though to a certain degree Taye dose owe a Black Woman actress the leading roll next to him and remember how WE jumped started his career. So he need not think he’s gotten so famous that he don’t need us BLACK WOMEN to carry his career anymore. To be honest, I did not watch his new show because the previews were weak and I wasn’t interested in seeing a black man loving on a white women in a roll that could have easily went to a Black women.
As for his wife, I think he selected a beautiful and talented wife. I saw her in Wicked and she was amazing. The discussion of Taye’s career has nothing to do with his choices in a wife. If a person loves someone, you can’t tell the heart they are the wrong color. So I say love who you love, but remember this REAL world we live in and it’s very social justice issues ant still exist. Taye, take a page from Alfre Woodard who married a white man but still understands her roll in our over all struggle for equality in a society where we still struggle to be equal. OK, I’m off my soap Box. hahaha

@205 I really didn’t give to much about Taye Diggs anyways I don’t think he was even that attractive.I could care less of who he dates,I been around the world and they don’t like racial mixing.Overseas they treat women with fair skin as goddesses and they despise black men dating fair skin so before you try to knock down the sisters please do your math.I’m not saying that it is wrong but be real.

I have noticed that black men here (new mexico) date the white girls cause they have $ in their family. and also because they cant control a black women like they can the white ones. I dont really have a problem with interracial dating, but when you exclude a race based on some BS, you are really the one with the problem. and i tried to watch daybreak, since i love shows like that, but there was nothing special going on in the show. it was very confusing. and i watch lost (which is confusing also), but daybreak was whack like crack, lol.

#205 I am the type of woman that is attracted to someones appearence but more importantly his PERSONALITY. Usher is fine. Kanye is fine. But ever since they got the big head they have suddenly become somewhat unattractive. It actually brings out their flaws…like now Kanye seems to have a funny shaped head if you look at him from the side lol. And Usher could use a lot more height.

I actually like Taye Diggs as an actor, but I just wasn’t interested in watching this show.
Now basing the cancellation on black women not supporting his personal life is ridiculous.
So what was everybody else’s excuse for not watching?
I mean, were we really his last hope?
Dude, please.
It wasn’t a good show, so get over it.

I believe this fool lives in my neighborhood in midtown Manhattan because I ALWAYS see him at my train station or walking down the street. One time I was at the subway stop and he came onto the platform and had some damn fisherman’s hat pulled down over his eyes and shit, trying to be INCOGNEGRO. When he got on the train, he was all huddled in the corner with his head turned and he kept peeking to see if anyone noticed him. If you ask me, he brought more attention to himself be acting suspicious than if he was to just sit his ass down instead of looking like the damn Unabomber. LOL.
In any case, i am not pressed…he is played out like Adidas shell-toe sneakers.

Well, as usual both parties have a point, Taye IS right about some things, and the sisters are right also. I DO remember Taye could do no wrong when he was in Black movies in the eyes of sisters. The problem with interracial dating is the sissified brothers are the ones crossing, but when the real street brothers start crossing, I don’t think anybody is going to be man OR woman enough to raise hell to his face about it.

The problem is that every black women thinks she’s the shit (subconsciously) . And the quality of men is subpar (subconsciuosly) . When they see a brother (Taye Diggs) with a white women and content . It’s a smack in the face , being blackwomen are the shit . We all know how sistas was feeling him in Stella . And now he’s subpar and everything ! Halle got this noodle european dude and the sisters are cool with it . Because they quick to say she has had a rough run with blackmen and like most women mind set it’s always the man’s fault . And she can’t find or that there is a shortage of qaulity men . And good brothers are tired of hearing that for the last 20 years . But the bottom line is that sistas believe finding a mate should not be difficult for blackmen being it so many of you’ll who are the shit (lol) . NEWS FLASH …. it’s kind of thin on our end too ! Mainly as I said before you’ll want the alpha male . Atheletes, singers, rappers, actors(T.Diggs) . It’s only because these guys have money and notoriety is the reason you all want them . Or so offended when they choose white . Stop being so concern with celebrity blackmen who don’t date sistas and show some love for real everyday brothas …… or sistas don’t do everyday . Taye Diggs the actor ! P.S……he didn’t blame black women . He responded to a question !

Mr. Diggs get a life!, typical, typical! want to blame all your short comings, faults and failures on blackwomen, MAN UP and take responsibilities for your life! t has nothing to do with your wife! The show was CRAP! So you’re show’s life expectancy was riding on the shoulders of blackwomen? lol…..well how come your wife didn’t rally her white girlfriends to keep your show aflaot, hmmmm; maybe because they thought it was CRAP TOO!!!! and you’re saying that we should watch the show because you’re black? If that’s the case then, we could easily say well since you’re black then you should be married to a black woman. I know it’s not about the color, it’s about who you end up falling in love with, well Mr. Diggs the same goes for your show, it had nothing to do with the fact that your black, the matter of the fact is we just didn’t fall in love with the show! Now that’s all said and done, I probally will not watch or support anything else that you do, for the mere fact that you decided to launch an attack on black women for a CRAP A– show!!

Why doesn’t Taye tell us why white women and white men weren’t watching his show as well? Because, if his show was only getting 4-5 million viewers a week, a lot more than just Black women were tuning out.
And I’d love Taye to tell us why white people wouldn’t be comfortable with two black leads or a black/white relationship in the movie ‘Hitch’, but were okay with Eva Mendes.
People need to stop acting like all the world has evolved into some color-blind society and only black women have a problem. Didn’t we just see an uproar over a political ad about Harold Ford that implied he got it on with white women (even though he does)? They were appealing to those white men and women who wouldn’t like the idea of Taye Digg’s marriage either.
And, I guarantee you if George Clooney or Matthew McConaughey married black women, they would suddenly stop being oh-so-attractive to white women.

The state of African Americans today because of single parent household is an issue that WE must deal with.
YET
That does not justify his comments.
Your basically saying he has resentment for his Black mother because he was raised in a single parent home. And that same resentment for his mother he is using toward black women. Thats lame and that can be said for any man of ANY RACE who resents their mother and dates a woman of another race. That is a personal problem, not just typical of black men.
EVEN IF THAT WERE THE SCENARIO……and he is using that resentment. … he is still lame, needs to educate himself, and refocus his resentment into helping other people in his situation.
And you had the audacity to say your glad your not us because of the way we are portrayed by others. That is just like an insecure, jealous person. We as Africans regardless of our country are special and unique. Everyone wants our features and our culture. BECAUSE of their insecurities THEY PORTRAY US AND TRY AND MANIPULATE US. And you are HAPPY to be one of them! Im happy you are one of them. You are not strong enough to be of African decent…weakling….
Instead of you worrying about why black men are bitter toward black women you need to investigate how to change those IMAGES. NOT RIDICULE AFRICAN AMERICANS. Yes that is a problem . The media is full of dirty tricks and IMAGES should not affect your decision to want to be a certain race

Where is KKKRAMER when you need him to tell the T00L about himself?
Taye Diggs always seems to have issue with Black women. A while back on the Chris Rock show, Rock had to stop him from talking smack about “only black women complain that he is short” WTF is up with this yuckFace?
I am tired of his FUGLY uptight arse.
This man is an average actor and he wants to compare himself with Will Smith and Denzel! Ummmmm, NOT NOT!!
I go to see Will Smith and Denzel because they are amazing actors.
SYDNEY POITIER, TERRENCE HOWARD, CUBA GOODING, JR., QUINCY JONES, AND MANY HIGH PROFILE BLACK MALES HAVE WHITE WIVES, we support them. What is Taye’s point?
That Black F**Ker needs to stop biting the hand that feeds he crusty arse.
If his Nasty arse doesn’t apologize to the countless black females he has stereotyped because his stupid show got cancelled, I will make sure every black
woman and man I know boycott his future movies. I know it would be bad for the other people involved, but this creep needs to learn to have respect for us. We made his arse with that “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” movie.
It wasn’t white women that flooded the theatres to see his mediocre acting and fugmug!
Taye Diggs needs to worry that his woman looks like a TRANNY and stop minding Black women’s business.. We made his arse and we sure as hell are capable of take his shyte away!
I couldn’t care less if he was married to a DOG, coming to think of it he and his wife both favor DOGS!
This man is looking for publicity on Black women’s backs. Maybe if he were not so nervy and disgusting, I would support him.
Mr. Diggs needs to know that it is the WHITE population that did not do his show justice. Isn’t his show after LOST? Think about who watches LOST? That same demographic wasn’t supporting his show..
I don’t watch crap on TV becides GREY’S ANATOMY & DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Grey’s Anatomy has Burke who is dating an Asian woman (SANDRA OH)and not only is it one of the top shows, all of my black friends love the show.. So what is Taye’s point? He wants a scapegoat, and I refuse to let him get away with it!
I am tired of these men walking all over us! They always seem to love and know us when they are having their N*GG*R MOMENTS (Case in recent history, “O”H “J”OKER SIMPSON!

THIS IS #64 AGAIN–IT IS TRUE THAT THE ISSUES THAT GOES ALONG WITH BEING RAISED IN A SINGLE PARENT HOUSEHOLD CAN APPLY ACROSS RACIAL AND CLASS BACKGROUNDS, HOWEVER, WHAT IS VERY SPECIFIC TO THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY IS THE WAY IN WHICH BLACK MEN ATTACK AFRICAN AMERICAN IN MAINSTREAM MEDIUMS. YOU CANNOT DENY THE WAY IN WHICH AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN OPENLY ARTICULATE THEIR DISDAIN AND DISAPPOINTMENT TOWARD AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN. ALTHOUGH ROBERT DINERO ONLY DATES AND MARRIES AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN, YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM IN AN INTERVIEW RIDICULING ITALIAN WOMEN! SO THE QUESTION THAT ARISES IS: WHAT MAKES THE CONDITION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN WHO PUBLICLY ARTICULATE THEIR HATRED TOWARD AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN SO SPECIAL? OBVIOUSLY ITS THE SOCIALIZING PROCESS FROM CHILDHOOD ON…IN TERMS OF YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THE WAY IN WHICH MAINSTREAM SOCIETY COOPTS SO CALLED AFRICAN AMERICAN BEAUTY, I SAY THAT DEFINITELY CUTS ACROSS RACIAL LINES. THERE IS AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO GO THROUGH THE TORTUOUS PROCESS OF PLASTIC SURGERY IN ORDER TO ERASE THEIR AFRICAN FEATURES. MOREOVER, HOW MANY AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN WEAR LONG WEAVES, BLOND HAIR AND COLORED CONTACT LENSES (CIRCA 1990S)? THIS IS DUE TO THE SELF-HATRED THAT IS SO PERVASIVE IN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY. MY GOD, YOU GUYS ARE STILL DEBATING THE SIGNIFICANCE OF COLORISM–AND “GOOD HAIR” VERSUS “NAPPY HAIR.” ADDITIONALLY, YOU UTILIZE THE VERY TERM NIGGA, NAPPY AND BLACK AS NIGHT TO DESCRIBE ONE ANOTHER–HENCE, AFRICAN AMERICANS STILL COMMUNICATE WITH ONE ANOTHER LIKE THEY ARE STILL ON A PLANTATION, SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE WAY IN WHICH YOU BRAG ABOUT HOW PEOPLE TRY TO LOOK LIKE YOU.

Personally, I don’t care who his wife is. However, I won’t lie, when I saw the previews for the show, I did roll my eyes because it just seemed typical that if a black man is to star in a prime-time tv show then he has to have a light-next-to-white woman on his arm added to the fact that the plot seemed stupid as all hell. Don’t get me wrong, I have much love for all of our wonderful shades as a race but I am mad at the entertainment industry for not recognizing that dark-skinned women are just as beautiful as light-skinned women are. True, they do throw us a bone every once in awhile but, dang! As far as this interview is concerned…even though he seems as if he is tired of answering the same question over and over again about his wife, he does come off arrogant as hell. I don’t know why he got an attitude this time, I mean if one of his white interviewers/ fans asked that question, would he have gotten an attitude? Nope, especially when he knows that almost all of them know that they have a sure fire chance at hooking up with him. I have, in the past, been a decent fan of his but not anymore.

I do agree with the well written statement made in #262. To keep my own statement short and sweet… I do not oppose anyone dating any person they share a mutual love and respect for. My problem is…just as #262 states, “Why do we have to diss a whole group of ppl because either we have had some bad personal experiences or have decided to alter our preferences?” I mean…Dennis Rodman…just b/c u dated a bunch of low-life, gold-digging, disrepectful, uneducated, low-self esteem having black women…does that mean all black women should be characterized as such? Hey…has Dennis, Wesley, or Taye ever heard about this woman making a little lead-way in television named…OPRAH? Is she doesn’t cancel all bets for black female stereotypes…well u get the point!

That’s right, I preferred to watch 15 minutes of news real repeat itself than to continue to endure poor acting and a senseless storyline. I for one don’t care what color your wife is. When did it become Black women’s job to support television shows simply because it’s star is a Black male? To try and blame Taye’s failure(s) on the very people he has the least to do with is laughable.
Taye’s last series surely was not aimed at the female audience or the Black audience for that matter and neither was his lawyer series on Fox.Both show were set up to sell Taye as the Black Cary Grant to white folks and even they didn’t buy it.
Taye, like most white loving Black men has an extreme hatred of self which manifests itself in the hatred of Black women and it all flowed out during this interview.
Friends and Seinfeld sure didn’t have the Black female audience and they survived for years. No one would aim a show at Black women and not show any Black women and that is what all of Taye’s shows have done.
He thought he could ride the backs of Black women to fame, playing in romantic Black comedies and then jump on the white side once he had enough exposure but alas, fate has played a cruel game on this fool.
Btw, who here ever thought Tyae was fine? I was always baffled at how he got the lead in so many Black romatic comedies. His acting is okay and he is hardly fine.
Also, Terrence Howard seems to do just fine with Black women and we all know about his his white wife. What does Taye have to say about that?

Fuck who Taye is married to,dude is a lame ass actor. That’s why I don’t support him.The only movie he was decent in to me was The Best Man and I think that’s simply because the rest of the cast was so on point.

Just askin-where did Taye actually say that his show was cancelled because black women refused to watch? I missed where he said that. His choice of scripts is clearly the issue as far as his cancellation-the other two quotes appear to be taken out of context from separate interviews…

Taye has a show?? Just found out.
Note 1: You know, I never knew who his love interest were but just analyzing his demeanor he looks like he would be with a woman like her. More power to him. I’m just tired of black men seemingly dating outside of their race for some kind of status. I see it all the time over here in Europe. It’s sad. Where are we going people?
Note 2: Blaming black women for the failure of your show…low. Take responsibility for your own misguided dicisions Taye! YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK! Get lost! Go cry somewhere else prefferably NOT in public.

I actually have never heard about this show, so I’m guessing that if none of the reviews I read mentioned it, it probably wasn’t that good.
Don’t blame black women for your crappy show. I’m sure it was just bad. The reason why Eva Mendes was cast in Hitch instead of a white women is because people in general (esp. white and black people) are more willing to watch it. Also, if his love interest were black, it’d be a “black movie,” really limiting the # of people who watch it. I don’t know if I would have felt differently if it were a white woman, but I did like Hitch. I love Eva Mendes, but I wouldn’t have watched it if it were Eva Longoria or J Ho. I also wouldn’t have watched it if it had Jennifer Aniston, but that’s because I don’t think these women can act and they all live out stereotypes (Eva L and J Ho = “spicy latinas,” Jennifer Aniston = very plain almost ugly, very white Becky type).

It makes me very angry when certain people make sweeping assumptions about others when they feel they’ve been discriminated against. It may be a natural response, but it’s absolutely unfair and unwarranted in this case.
I watch his movies and have regularly in the past with no thought to his wife or his personal life pretty much because I didn’t know anything about him. After reading this, I don’t want to watch anything he does, not because of who he’s with, but because his attitude is nasty. I can’t support any actor who I think is a bad person, so while I’m supporting Denzel, the Smiths, Morris, Brangelina, Angela, DeNiro, Depp, Gabi U, & all my favorite actors, Taye can reflect on how he just lost a lot of fans.

I didn’t watch the show because It’s been done before and it has to be more interesting then what ever else is on tv. Secondly why start watching another show that will not last. I loved the show he had on UPN, Kevin Hill, and out of the blue the sh*t gets cancelled, I mean it would be nice if BET could pick up some of our shows while they are still on the air. Shows like Half and Half and countless other shows that were good, now I’m not talking about the shows like Homeboys in Outerspace types, but it would be nice if our stations could pick these shows up. It’s not like our shows go to DVD right away like there counterparts.

“Daybreak” was pretty good, but I just knew from the get go it was going to get cancelled. It required paying a lot of attention and being able to follow a complicated plot. It’s just one of those shows that if it doesn’t hit at the very beginning, it just wasn’t going to happen. And it didn’t hit.
I don’t know where all these comments are coming from that he’s not a good actor. I completely disagree. And as for him being corny, I think he stands behind Will Smith in the corny actors line and I like Will Smith.

Like an early post stated “People need to stop acting like all the world has evolved into some color-blind society and only black women have a problem.” Taye was upset because they questioned him on his choice of wife and he’s tired of that question obviously white people are questioning him. Why is it a constant question? Think about it?

Whats funny is that aside from his personal decision to date and marry a woman thats not black (and he certainly has every right to do so, no questions asked), but he has the damn nerve to still want the dollar and admiration of black women! The fuckin nerve! It’s happening too much in hollywood to say this is a coincidence, or “you can’t help who you love.” There are too many beautiful, absolutely gorgeous black women around for them to continually be looked over and sleep with behind doors, however, there’s a woman of a different race on the celebrities arm. There are too many black entertainers, athletes, intentional choosing for partners women that are non-black (i could care less they are some other minority!) However, they want us to overlook this, and still support their black ass even though they are essentially saying “we aren’t good enough.” Sure, you can date and marry whom you want, but please don’t expect the support and constant admiration of black women. If the shoe was on the other foot, and successful black women, whether athletes or entertainers, were marrying men who weren’t black in scores, black men would be outraged. They are already outraged when they see one beautiful black woman with a white male. I’d hate to see black men’s reaction if these women were rich as hell and 70% of them married men who weren’t black! Gheesh! It would be a riot.
Black men are a trip for this reason! It’s the weirdest shit in the world to me. Black women are the best lookin women on the earth, yet, black men choose anything but black women when they exceed a certain income bracket, then all of a sudden, we aren’t good enough.
Too many black men have self-hate issues, but swear, and would curse you out, before they admit it. Black men have never truly treasured and appreciated black women. They require so much of black women, but require much less when they are in relationships with women of any other race! No self love means self hate for anyone else that looks like them.
Taye Diggs is not a good actor, period. How he got stella got her groove back is beyond me. He’s just okay, barely considered attractive. And he trips me out when he tries to do that fake ass jamaican accent every now and again.
I liked Kevin Hill, but i really think it would have survived if their would have been another, much better, actor playing Taye’s role.
I don’t believe his series was cancelled due to non-support of black women - i watched the show and quite frankly it just wasn’t all that good!

>>”Here is when he got a little attitude when the interviewer asked him about his white wife:”
Why was it necessary to use that phrase “white wife” when referring to Idina Menzel? So what if his wife is white? Are you biased as well against black men and white women being together? Why is it when a black man chooses another woman, of another race, to marry he is no longer supporting black women? So, if a white man marries a black woman then white women have the right to claim that he doesn’t support them? Let’s be serious.
What Taye said was the truth. And everyone on here knows it. If you don’t believe it go back to any other post where you’ve got black men with women of other races. They’ve become traitors to their race…by finding they love outside of the black race. Wow, what year do we live in?
There was no need for the interviewer to bring up the fact that he is married to a white woman. Who cares?
And everyone on here who has decided to degrade his wife by calling her names…I really don’t think she’s done or said anything offensive towards black women (other than marrying a black man, according to some of you). She’s been there for him before he became famous. She’s not with him for his money or fame. She has her own. I’m not sure why anyone felt the need to go off on her.

Your ignorance amazes me. My goodness, it’s just like a Caucasian to stand on a pedestal and tell other Nationalities what their problems are about, within their communities, i.e. George Bush, and the war at hand.
A perfect analogy…
A news reporter interviews and investigates the southern dialect, (the cutting and slicing of the English language by African-Americans) within deep Alabama. This airs on CBS, (the media’s intent) and becomes the topic of the next morning’s work environment. “White” people began to generalize (from only a few facts and cases) on the state of African Americans today. The discussion deepens and leads to exaggeration, (due to misguided ignorance) and “Ebonics” formulates and (consciously) defines ALL African Americans, level of speech. From this misplayed scenario, society generates someone like you, young lady; someone who loves to speak on a certain subject, and stand strong on this subject with no real and valid right. And, because you are able to string a couple good sentences, this all makes you sound impressing.
I am not impressed by your cotton ball of words, (no weight). The single family will not take the blame for the actions of a small percentage, of the population of African Americans. Young lady, your pedestal is weak; it began to lose its strength when you began to speak on an issue, a culture, African Americans in which you are not familiar with, as a whole. Your fragile comments are laced with ignorance, bottom line.
Let us try to improve ourselves before we try to change others; once you began to love yourself, love for others will come easy, and life will be less stressful.
Taye Diggs… I am not a fan, plain and simple. And, because I do not follow the media, I never knew he was married to a “White” woman. I am still…no fan.

Hello to all the vets…I’m somewhat of a newbie to this site.
I find it sort of funny that black women shun black men in the entertainment industry that date white women, however, the black women that date white men don’t feel any negative drawbacks from it i.e. Halle Berry and Kerry Washington….actually, they seem to be extremely successful.
The problem stems from the numbers in population. Black men (outnumbered by black women) really don’t have an effect on whether or not a tv show and/or movie is successful. Unfortunately, you only feel the effect of a black male in the music industry (hip hop).
In the real world, black men feel the same way about black women dating white men as black women feel about black men dating white women.

#24, I agree!! There are too many tv series out that look like movies, and I don’t care to watch them. It’s very interesting that black women were the one’s getting the finger pointed at them for cancellation. Surprise he didn’t say that the show was cancelled because there are too many spanish people who don’t know the english language and don’t watch enough english speaking shows. Whatever!! Make better shows and you wouldn’t have this problem all around.
