THE NEW MUSIC REVIEW

Chris Brown – Nothing But Love 4 U (full) – download
Lots of e-mails about this song. Not sure of this is a new song or something from old sessions. If it’s new, it’s wack, and if it’s from old studio sessions, I can definitely see why it was left off the album (which has much better material than this). But anyways, I guess this is for the people that asked for it, I’m not digging it on this end.

Ciara feat. 50 Cent – Can’t Leave ‘Em (full) – download
A lot of people seemed to like this song as well, from Ciara’s new album, “The Evolution,” which drops in stores on Tuesday. I like this song, but I can’t stand 50. I think that Ciara could have gotten someone else to be featured on this track and made it just as good, if not better than Mr. Cent.

Mary J. Blige & John Legend – King & Queen (full) – download
This comes from Mary J.’s up and coming greatest hits album. I’m not really a fan of either Mary or John (not saying I don’t like them, I just have never been a fan of either). Their voices sound great together on the song, they are both soulful singers, so they compliment really well. This song is a good look.

Janet Jackson – With U (full) – download
Said to be Janet’s new single from her latest album, “20 Y.O.” (which hasn’t been doing all that great). However, although Janet’s album didn’t do so well on the charts, I appreciate the production and writing that Johnta Austin, Jermaine Dupri, and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis did on the track. I’m fans of all of their work.

  2. hdizzle

And what the fuck are you still talking to me for? Your so damn colr struck your vision is impaired. Or you just can’t or don’t read. My whole point is 50 ass shouldnt be biting the hand that feeds him.

Clean the cum residue out your eye self proclaimed Ho.

  3. hdizzle

your so stupid like I said you STILL can’t form an opinion on the subject becuase you seperate black people by skin tones.

UHHG I can’t stand self hating niggers like you. You make me want to shower after reading your comments

  4. net_ho

For the last time it’s *because* and that spell how you talk b.s is for the birds.. There is no excuse for being a grown man and cant spell a high frequency word.

  5. net_ho

Hdizzle stay on topic and stop talking about old shit. Ignore me is the best solution.

  6. hdizzle

Oh yeah becuase I type fast and misspell some words that soem how deflects the fact that your views are disgusting and your a disgusting excuse for an african american?……..if you say so.

And as long as you address me or make a comment that I dont like on a public forum. I will always say something to you.

  7. net_ho

You think you’re gonna say what you want and I wont say shit ?? please!!! You are becoming boring now,so back to the topic at hand . I like fifty Cent he’s no diffrent from most of these other rappers out today.

  8. hdizzle

you can say what ever the fuck you want to say, you just not saying anything as far as I’m concerned becuase that ignorant ass views Bamboozle_Ho. And yeah you WOULD like 50.

  9. net_ho

Hdizzle get a life!!! I can think how I want and you cant do shit about it, but deal with it!!! Dont be concerned with me worry about getting your G.E.D.

  10. ((Hypnotic_Seizures))

Since I have to go back to work, this is for everyone who addressed me:
Why did I use the Martin Luther King reference?
Hmm,isnt it obvious for anyone educated?Isnt it obvious that one man wanted unity, established unity and rose up against racism and hatred? Is it not also obvious that some of you are hating another man without any apparent reason?Isnt it obvious that this hatred and dislike goes against what Martin Luther King fought for? What he died for?

If 50 cent has truly done anything to make you ‘hate’ him, then please feel free to state what he has done specifically to you to make you have such a viewpoint towards him.

So because this site doesnt even come close to billboard means that this site can talk smack about artists?Isnt a review,no matter where it comes from, supposed to be fair?Isnt a review a critique of work done by someone else?If I said “The Oprah Winfrey show sucks because I hate Oprah”Where is the logic behind that?

It is highly idiotic for someone who reviews music to be biased, because then, whenever I see a 50 cent review,I will immediately know the review will present false hateful information.

Dont get it twisted,I do not dislike Oprah Winfrey as she has never done anything to specifically bring out any angry emotion from me.But do I respect her? No,I cannot and will not respect a person who chooses to hate a form of art such as Hiphop.Since when is it fair to invite someone to your show and then bully&embarass them infront of the whole nation?

To the people stating 50 cent brags about selling crack:Does he do it anymore?Didnt 50 cent quit the hustle almost 10years ago?Would you much rather have 50 cent talk about crack or sell crack?

We as the current and future generation of this world have got to stop hating on one another,it will get us nowhere and will ultimately create a world with no peace and justice.

  11. net_ho

ty @130 hdzzle has no formal education so he would’nt have none that… Goodnight

  12. Dave

Wow Janet you just proved to me that you should stop trying. Dont talk no shit about Ciara then make exceptions for Janet just cuz shes a “legend”

Lol at you two arguing so hard on this forum. Wouldnt it be hilarious if you knew each other in real life and were good friends yet hated each other on CL. I always wonder that about people who go off on each other on line.

  13. hdizzle

    129

I skip over that skag. Your done. Till I adress you again.

    ((Hypnotic_Seizures))

I’ll tell you what he’s done. to make me hate him. He’s openley bragged about his pumping crack cocain into the community, Hes attacked some one who stands for something and helps to educate young woman over seas in villiages in africa and at home.

While she is breaking stereotypes by keeping mass appeal and remaining grounded

hes perpetuating a stereo type by continuously being aressted on weapons charges and asult charges. his last run in for punching a man in the face at a fashion show for not moving his seat down. I can not stand his ass.

  14. hdizzle

    132

bitch ya spelt my name wrong too. Run through the dictionary before yuo go to sleep to night.

  15. net_ho

@135 compared to all of your grammer errors that was nothing!!! goodnight keep my name off of your keyboard if I’m not here to defend myself negro.

  16. hdizzle

Ho the point is people who live in glass houses……you know the rest. Your talking about my gramaticle errors and make gramaticle mistakes in the same sentence? bitch go to sleep.

I will talk about you when ever I see fit. In fact when ever the topic comes up again I will use you as an example of self hatred in every conversation. When ever I choose too.

  17. ((Hypnotic_Seizures))

    To Hdizzle #134:
So you would much rather listen to a man who calls bi-racial women mutts than listen to a former crack dealer talk about his struggles and how God helped him(listen to Footprints,God gave me style, etc.)?If this is your stance, then I truly believe what Net_Ho said about your education level.
If talking about selling weed/cocaine/drugs/hustling makes you hate an artist, then I believe you should also add the following to your list:
    Jay-Z,Raekwon,Ghostface Killa,Clipse,Biggie Smalls,Rick Ross,Ludacris,Trick Daddy,Snoop Dogg,Lil Flip,these are just a few who immediately come to mind.

  18. hdizzle

First off what your throwing 2 songs in my face that have biblical references in them becuase the nigga didnt die after some rap beef caught up with him. And he makes further reference to god for putting him in the Tax brackett he’s in?

I question your intellegence becuase you had the nerve to use martin luther king in reference to defending a man whos musical demagraphic is 10 and up and whose music has the content that it has. Maybe you should do some research on what Dr. King stood for because that wasnt it, and I take personal offense to you using his name to defend a rapper you seem to really like. Check your self, becuase your either really young or not to bright

  19. hdizzle

And whos to say I dont include them? Now wheres your argument.? One of my other beefs that excludes them is THIS man not only pereptuates the stereo type of a rich nigger for white peopel to fear in the media he also isnt talented. HE’S not even good at what he does he just uses his background to sell records which includes drugs and violence. Hes not even a “rapper” thats also truely insulting.

  20. I love the John and Mary tune, it’s great; and very soulful indeed.

The Janet song is not too bad too.

#103 Hypnotic Seizures – reRead the post… it is a news article of Oprah’s response. I believe the rappers have a good point that there is a double standard – Dave Chappalle and Chris Rock call out bitches and whores [hoes] and it’s nigga this and nigga that, and she doesn’t seem to hold them to the same standard.

Her point may be just as she stated – the rappers have more of an “influence” of the younger masses than the comedians do – Either way, Oprah and rappers do positive things — Oprah’s are more well known for obvious reasons, but 50, Luda and other rappers have Foundations and organizations and programs that provide assistance and support to communities and the underprivileged in the US and nationwide –

The issue was in both cases with Luda and Ice Cube, the “rappers” should have been included on Oprah’s show because of the movies that were being discussed -not because they were rappers. In Cube’s case with Barbershop, which he wrote, directed and acted in, she didn’t even invite him with the other actors to the show… with Ludacris, he came on the show to discuss his role in “Crash”, but she started talking about his rap lyrics.

Bottom line, they agree to disagree, Luda, 50, Ice Cube are all businessmen who parlayed rap into other multimillion businesses and opportunities – and Oprah is doing her thing on a billion dollar level. I hope they all make it do what it do – Black people doing well is always a good thing.

  23. Sweetie 19

Chris Brown- This song sound so horrible and I can’t even believe it’s a Chris Brown song. I think his second album is going to be garbage.

Ciara-I like the song but she should have gotten someone else besides 50 cent to rap in the song because he sounds gay as hell. Think my husband T.I. next time C C.

Mary J Blige-I like the song. It alright.

Janet Jackson- The song is nice. I would play it

but someone really needs to tell Chris Brown that the song is not working. Maybe he should have gotten Kanye West to help him hook up that song he’s really good with doing remakes. I don’t mean that as disrespect(Kanye West).

  24. pray

I WONDER HOW OLD ARE THESE PPL THAT ARE SAYING JANET HAS NOT GROWN AS A ARTIST BECAUSE THEY APPARENTLY JUST STEPPED INTO THE GAME I GUESS EVERYONE ON CL IS PROFESSIONALS BECAUSE ITS ALWAYS THEIR WAY OR ITS NOT RIGHT IF ITS NOT THE KIND OF MUSIC YOU LISTEN TO DOESNT MEAN SOMEONE ELSE DONT LIKE IT AND YES ITS YOUR OPINION BUT REMEMBER THATS ALL IT IS AND DOES NOT MAKE YOU RIGHT!!!!!!!!

  25. Kenya

Chris Brown- I love his album. I think that he’s a talented young artist that will make it in the business for a long time if he keeps a positive attitude and positive people around him. But this song does no justice for him. They did right by not putting this song on the record. The song was boring.

Ciara-The song was okay. I don’t too much care for 50. The song could of been better. I didn’t really like this song too much.

Mary & John Legend-Boring. Don’t really care for John Legend. I like Mary though.

Janet-I actually liked this song though. I like the melodies and her voice for this song. I thought it was really nice.

  26. BEANS

I love this song. It’s my fave slow track on the album. I had to play this for my jump off. LOL

I’m waiting for her to drop Do It To You!

  27. justanothernono

Oprah is not anybody who cares about what she thinks she is just another lucky black sista with a break in life she has not went through no more than the next and if she did hell she is rich and can pay someone to take her troubles away 50 cent is not the only rapper that talks about her in their songs I have heard a lot

  28. leila

I’m sorry but the only good thing about that ciara song is 50 cent’s verses.

  29. GooDz

OMFG!!! are u serious wheres the hate comin from???that 50 and Ciara Joint is hot ass hell..Please stop hatin it aint a good look…th chris brown track is aight….

  30. The Mary song is on John’s album with some other chick. I must be the only person who owns his latest album. LOL

  31. Valee

    @ ((Hypnotic_Seizures))
You have some very good points.(claps) Oprah does cater to a white demographic. Why wouldn’t she? She’s paid, but at the same time she’s encouraging them to not like rap music. There are some positive rappers out there.
Ppl just need to understand that artists are signed to labels. Labels want to make money. If bitches and hoes get them money, so be it. Keep in mind that life is not always positive.
Everbody’s wanted to kill somebody else at a point in time. Rappers are human too, but most of them express themselves through their music. Hence, songs about killings people and violence. Are you gonna hate on a rapper for being human?
To those who can’t stand 50 cent and others:
-Do you honestly believe everything you’re told? You can’t stand that he promotes negativity and drugs and so on…, doesn’t mean stuff like that is going to stop happenning. There are children about 50′s age when he started, selling crack right now. He raps about it: So? … what is the reasoning behind the hatred?? He talks about bitched and hoes… And? There are girls out there, some you might even know, who would give it up to these rappers in a second… simply because they are rappers. Doesn’t that make her, well, a hoe?
I’m just saying. None of your arguments make sense. Everything you hate about him, he doesn’t even control. He talks about it, doesn’t mean it’s going to stop. Doesn’t mean he started it. He just talks about it. I’m not a huge 50 fan, but I can’t hate him. And hate is a very strong word. And people if we want to complain about talent I think there are bigger fish to fry. He at least writes some of his music which is more than what I can say about most of today’s artist who don’t even sing their own songs.
Black people, we need to stop hating. We call ourselves bitches and hoes and nigga this and nigga that. Why wouldn’t the white man do it too.
    More powere to us.

okay tell me why Beyonce is coming on 106 the day that ciara’s album is being released to talk about “dreamgirls” so the shine will be on her again. Ciara has been getting some deep ass promotion and alot of attention on BET, I mean turn on the channel to BET and she is the CHICK on there, all you hear is Ciara. And “dreamgirls” doesn’t come out until like a month from now. why Ciara’s album day?? I know ciara herself couldn’t be on 106 the exact date of her release but why do Bey gotta be there. why couldn’t bey be there next week?? something is very fishy and it smells like Daddy KNOWLES!!! Because they know cici is giving Bey a run for her money on BET. The Knowles clan is at it AGAIN! Although it surprised me when they announced that Beyonce was going to be there and the audience barely applauded and when they said Ciara was going to be there on Wednesday, they were screaming on top of their lungs. see, all these stuff makes me not like Beyonce and I am trying to like her showing up on ciara’s album day, ain’t cool. I have never heard any artist do that but I guess Bey is trynna be the first!

  33. dree

Chris brown – i thought it was ok if it was an old unrelease track. if it’s no, it’s definately a downgrade. and i’m sorry if there’s an original version i don’t know about

ciara – i thought it was ok. don’t like 50 on the track though.

mary – i really liked this one. thought i do LOVE hearing mary lash out with her voice, which she didn’t do in this one and doesn’t really do much of anymore.

    janet – i liked it.

to the people who said she hasn’t evolved. evolving doesn’t necessary mean making better music. an evolved artists has found themselves and recognizes their personal style which janet has done and continues to do with jermaine as a producer. although i admire her older work better too. with the exception of so excited and enjoy. and on the sexuality topic. janet is still a woman, a young woman who most likely still has sex. why is it immature to sing about it?? sex is a mature thing. though some artists take it to an immature level.

  34. bruhman

give me a break..i dont know why people are defending 50 cent like hes god… it just offends me that you guys say that Oprah hates black rappers and she appeals to the white community… whos to say who she appeals to.. are you trying to tell me what i should like as a black person… personaly i dont watch the Oprah show. however i dont find it necessary to diss her.. she doesnt want rappers on her stage if they dont have anything positive to say… If i talk about selling drugs and ive done it and i call people bitches and hoes… i dont deserve to be on any talk show because all it does is breed more fear of black men…. She is trying to stop the perpetuating cycle of niggerdome… shes trying to take a stand against ignorance and if your saying that the only way she can cater to a black audience is have ignorance on her show… that is stupid and offensive because i am a black man and i am not ignorant… THE ONLY THING I CAN applaud 50 cent on is the fact that he has a foundation for the kids…i wonder does he tell those kids not to listen to his music.. or tell them “do as i say, not as i do” because i really dont understand how you can have songs glorifying violence and drug usage…and then tell kids its bad for them

  35. bruhman

and how dare one of you use Martin Luther King Jr. to support 50 cent…yes martin wanted unity… but i dont think he had in mind for us to unify with drug dealers and help facilitate the destruction of the black community..I dont have to support ignant niggas to be black…you can go ahead and handle yours… do what you need to do… i could understand if hes trying to get the story out so that people can learn from him and not make the mistake… but he is not making a strong effort of stopping the things that he raps about…so somebody does and then he gets upset and acts like a baby…its not about the use of “nigga” its the message your sending… Chris rock uses the word nigga… and the reason hes on her show is because he diferenciates ( i know i spelled it wrong) between Black people and niggas… he said the best way a black person can hide money from a nigga is put it in a book… hes not calling every black person a nigga… unlike 50 cent
