I don’t know how I feel about this song. But then again, I’m not sure how I should feel about any song called “Baby Makin’ Hips.” Honestly, I like the production and even the melody. But I just cannot get with the lyrics of this song. I just, I don’t know, it almost makes me sad. I can see little girls walking around talking about they have “baby making hips.”

Honestly, this song is a really good single material, but I just don’t think that it should be released. The club goes crazy when this song comes on, people are singing it out their cars, but people have been on it so long, I just don’t think it’s a good single choice. The reason I think that it’s going to go ahead and release is because there are vinyl copies of it that include instrumental and acapella versions.

I crack up every time I hear the intro to this song simply because I live in Atlanta and go to school at an HBCU and hear girls talk like this all the time. I always enjoy a good dance track from Ciara because I love her high energy on dance records, and she always puts out a nice video. Apparently, Ciara has said that this set to be the next single on television appearances.

I can listen to “FutureSex/LoveSounds” all the way through and this is actually one of my favorite transitions on the album, from the more up-tempo/pop/techno side of the album to it’s darker side, that’s a bit edgier. “What Goes Around” is a really good lead-in the what I hear is going to be a club single, “Chop Me Up” (which features Three 6 Mafia).
Feel the same way about B’s song- but i liked it
Still dnt like Ciara & Lil Jon’s song, but the rest of her cd is nice

i love ciara’s cd! and that’s right and the other song produced by lil jon – “C.R.U.S.H” – are two of my favorites. not really feeling beyonce these days. she’s getting a bit sickening to me…i can recognize her talent but i don’t really like this cd overall. i feel like her cd is very bubble gumish and her music could be so much stronger. the justin timberlake cd is hot! Fantasia…no comment.
oh and before somebody jumps on me, i realize that ciara’s music is very bubble gumish but we know that ciara’s voice is not as great as beyonce’s. ciara has never tried to be a singer like beyonce. i think she does very well for party, laidback, fun music. i think beyonce could have grown so much more and done so much more with her voice. and she needs to stop screaming!!

I was in the club last Sat. & “Chop Me Up” came on and the whole club went CRAZY! Even the people who were just chillin had to get up and start dancing. Too bad there is going to be no vid for it. What Goes Around… is hot too (especially the 2nd part of it which is on the CD). Its a good single choice no matter which way he goes.

Yeah, I like this beyonce song, it’s one of the three I listen to from the album. but I think she is releasing this as a single becasue I read on another site (don’t remember which one) that this is one of the two vids she’s paying for out of her pocket but I feel if that’s the case she’l be releasing 6 vids for an album with only about ten songs.

Upgrade U should have been released as the second single or at least at the same time as say Ring the Alarm. Upgrade U is my party anthem but I don’t know if she should release this NOW! Her album came out in September and people were on this song like white on rice, lol. Folks had this song on their myspace pages. The urban radio stations (hot 97 and power 105.1) play “Upgrade U” on the regular. I know Angie and Solo are getting their paper from this. But hey the video can make or break this song.
