The video is okay. I was expecting more. Everyone but Aubrey looks really cute. In the shot with just Aundrea and Aubrey walking by themselves they look like they’ve got about 2 tons of hair between them on their heads. Dawn, D.Woods, and Shannon are my favorites.

In my opinion, DWoods and Aundrea are the only REAL singers in the group, and it was very obvious if you watched the show while they were making the album. Dawn is just all right to me. I was hyped for their album, but this is the only song I liked off of it. Video is okay.

Diddy really should make the next album a little less R&B, though. Danity Kane has three white girl singers that sound like just that–white girl singers. Now, there’s nothing wrong with that, but their voices just don’t really fit hip-hop all that well, which is why D. Woods and Dawn carry most of the album. Diddy should lighten it up a bit and add a little more pop to the next album so that ALL the girls can be in their element.

p.s. to all the people who were saying that andrea was not white and that she was mexican, this is a newsflash. mexican is a nationality not a race. you can be white and mexican, mestizo and mexican, hell even asian and mexican (if you’re born in mexico but to an asian family, your race would be asian but your nationality would be mexican). it’s the same thing as this whole “he/she is not white/black, but latino/latina” nonsense. being latino means you have latin american heritage. that’s not a race. so if you see a black girl and you find out she’s latina, don’t go around saying “she’s not black, she’s latina” b/c in fact, she is both (unless she’s mulatto, but most ppl have some sort of mix in their families anyway)

people use whatever label they feel best describes them. if you’re black but u were born in the states, u still say label yourself black b4 u label urself american because u most likely identify with that title better. between white and mexican aundrea probably identifies with mexican more than she does with the label white so that’s what she’s gonna use. the only difference between white and black people in america is their race but once u go outside the country people label themselves based on nationality not race.

Aubrey,really can’t sing,I know people have their own tone of what as if they can sing, but lets not be blinded by beauty because no she can’t sing.DWoods,she ok too.Aundrea, pretty voice.I didn’t get the album.They seem to don’t connect because they are a TV group, you can’t really connect as a group knowing each other less than a few years.You really have to grow vocally…

Honestly i aint feeling this video, it might grow on me which i doubt but there is always room for possibility, i mean i’m not buying it, they aint selling the song. Like the songs hott, but the video concept is trash. I don’t get a group feel when watching it neither, its like 5 random girls singing a song, like they focused on andrea too much in the beginning & the 1st verse then aubrey came 2 add a touch of star quality to andrea verse’s & image. They didn’t gel too great neither, i think this video could have been so much better it seemed rushed. I dnt like it anyways & thats my opinion, diddy better do these girls right because they got mad potential!

I wonder which one is gonna step there game up come second album, i mean there is always gonna be that star, that u just watch in all preformance’s, video’s, song’s etc. They have a glow just from there drive they dnt even have to be the most talented. I mean Beyonce has it, JT has it, Omarion has it, CoCo has it, when you watch their video’s u always watch what they do over the other members. I think its gonna be Dawn outta DK even though D.Woods is my fav, diddy will give Dawn more play than Wanita.

Understanding

I know what you’re saying about bands having a breakout star, but with this group it’s different for two reasons: 1) they do not openly push one of the members as a leader like in other groups. Beyonce, JT, Omarion, etc. were all the known leaders of the group. They were marketed that way. 2) Most other bands have group members with the same ethnicities, and not saying that all fans choose favoirtes based on race, but many do. So who each person prefers to focus on depends on more than just “star quality”.

But I do think, that some of them will pursue solo careers, namely all of them except Shannon. They all seem kind of independent anyways, but Shannon doesn’t seem to mind being in the background.

I think D.Woods is the best. She has the best stage presence unlike the others that just act stiff or move around in one spot. D.Woods moves all around the stage. She’s the best singer and dancer. She was the best in showstopper because its a south song and she’s the only one show it. The other girls just smile through the whole video. In ride for you, she is the only one showing emotion the other girls just smile and try to be pretty. D.Woods doesn’t have to try to do anything because everything just comes naturally for her.
