Mary is the greatest! 15 years plus still in the game on top! NOBODY can fuck with her, period! She will be one of the singers that will be around for a very long time like our Aretha’s, Patti’s, Chaka’s. This woman is a inspiration to billions. The video is HOT and she looks FLAWLESS as usual.

Best I have heard from her in a long time. When she sings properly without being out of key she does a good job. I really like this one. The video was good – I like the orchestra part. The piano bit at the beginning reminds me of something else aswell. I admire her for being herself (excluding the blonde hair of course), she seems down to earth even though she has money and fame.

Yea Rhianna does have a song called “we ride” with the same exact concept, but there is nothing new under the sun anyway, no artist is completely original so………I like this song and I thought she looked beautiful in the video. Her voice is usually too raspy and rough for my ears to bare but she sounds good on this song.
She could’ve done so much better on this video… The song wouldn’t be as similar as Rihanna’s We Ride video and song, if the music video was different. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either… it gets too boring too fast… But you’re still the shit, Mary J Blige!!!!! Always!

the song when Mary is singing it as opposed to
Rhianna or Danity Kane.
Here you have someone who is acutally married and has her actual husband in the video. I don’t care how much it seems similar to anybody else…it doesn’t connect with me like Mary’s. she’s singing from her heart not from a white sheet of paper her producers gave her. You can hear the realness in Mary’s voice, the years of experience she has with life. What can I say about Rhianna who is only 18? What does she know about ridin? lol Seriously I love Rhianna, D.K. (ok maybe not them), and Mary…but Mary wins hands down!

I’ve been a Mary fanactic since I was like 11 or 12…met her twice and cried both times. She came to my chruch (shout out to Crenshaw Christian Center East…Dr Frederick K.C. Price) and I really thought I was gonna pass out! I just love this woman! Now as far as my opinions on this video are concerned, I’m a lil biased. It’s fabulous. Her make-up is flawless. Her hair w/ the hat on, looks so soft and lucious. The blue bike w/ the blue outfit is hott 2 def!!! The ocean/rock scene…LOVE IT! When her and Kendu meet up in the second verse( but his face wasn’t revealed) so sexy! At the end when they show his face…awww…so romantic! I didn’t really like the white dress at the end, but after watching her lip synch and her movements to the song, It started to look a heck of alot better. Overall i give this video an A+++! The first time I heard the song, I didn’t like it instantly, like previous MJ songs, but the second time was all it took…I was hook. I copped the album Friday…although it only has 4 new joints, its definately worth it, ain’t nothing wrong with reminiscing!!! “NOW HOW YA LIKE IT, HOW YA LIKE BABE…I SEE THE FUTURE BABY, U AND I, GETS BETTER W/ TIME”!!!
