Diddy tried this with guys before and it didn’t work. Maybe he should put the effort into saving his album, considering it’s flopping harder than a live trout in a pan of hot grease. i think alot of you are misreading the information..this is a male not group or band he is doing,..but a single male artist,Diddy makes a ton of money from Mtv and vice versa..i’m co signing with others that it is a mistake to sign with him, but most are looking for that foot in the door and sometimes you have to deal with the devil to get what you want

Apparently has has a multi MTB contract with MTV. Since the first did pretty good with them, they signed him to a multi-MTB deal. I have to respect his hustle because once he knew they wanted him – and it is him they want, he got them to go deep instead of just a one season contract.
People know his shady music business practices – that’s why he can only sign new artists. But at the same time, if the artists that were on Bad Boy were so good, why isn’t some other record company snatching them up now? And if they weren’t on MTB would we even know about them at all?
I mean would Babs, Ness, Chopper City or Sarah [would I believe just signed with someone] even have had a chance without MTB? Be Real, Danity Kane is OK, but if they just came out as a band and you didn’t know them from the show, would you really think they were that good?
He doesn’t seem to be a music exec who is in the the long haul for his artists, but you have to admit, he will give you exposure – which is what any new artist really wants. Who else could have everybody talking about Cassie — they ain;t saying nice things, but they are talking.
