The March issue of VIBE Magazine (available on newsstands in mid February) features top Grammy nominee, Mary J. Blige on the cover.
In 1993, Quincy Jones created VIBE, which is now a leading urban publication. The 150th issue offers a look at some of the V-Icons - a stamp that the Vibe editorial team gave to a select few, including Luther Vandross, Aaliyah, Jay-Z, Puffy, Eminem, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac and more.

Plastic surgery victim, Vivica A. Fox spoke about her highly-publicized surgeries in a recent issue of Upscale Magazine.
The actress says that she loves the way she looks and could care less what we think:
ON HER PLASTIC SURGERY
“It doesn’t affect me what people say. I’m in the entertainment business and people like to see you look good. If there are steps I have to take to look good, I’m going to do it. I don’t hold it against anyone else, but if people want to hold it against me and create their own stories, so be it. If they were in my shoes and they had to do what they had to do to look good, then they would understand my journey. When I look in the mirror I still see Vivica and that’s all that matters to me. If I still look the same that I did 20 years ago then something must be working.”
ON HER FAMOUS GIRLFRIENDS
“Isn’t it wonderful that you see sisters sticking together? A lot of times when women reach a certain status, they don’t have girlfriends on their same level. Ne-Yo is back with a new single, “Because of You.” Although I wasn’t sure what the big deal was with Ne-Yo in the past, I have come to appreciate his ability as a writer. The boy can throw together a nice song. It’s diggable because it sort of gives me a Michael Jackson feel, as well as a tad bit of the 90’s, which I love some R&B that’s been coming out over the past month. Ne-Yo has definitely proven to be a success story from writer to artist. I love to see young people doing their thing, and making that money. ‘Cause everyone knows the real dough comes from writing.
BRANDY SUED FOR $50 MILLION

The parents of the woman killed in a car crash involving Brandy are suing the R&B singer for $50 million.
TMZ obtained the lawsuit filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Lawyers for the family of the deceased claim, “Defendant Brandy Norwood was driving recklessly in the freeway when her car collided with Awatif Aboudihaj’s car.”
The $50 million lawsuit seeks both compensatory and punitive damages.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles City Attorney is considering the CHP’s recommendation to criminally charge Brandy with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. VIEW THE LAWSUIT DOCUMENT
I mean it was going to come sooner or later. It would be even worse if the police proceeds with that vehicular manslaughter charge, where she can face up to a $1,000 fine and a year in jail. Doubt if it will go that far but, what a web woven for Brandy…
But then again, should she be charged with something? We see celebs get off all the time just for being famous, yet she wasn’t drunk or drugged. Is a $50 million reward to the family is enough?

Ok, so how long ago did the Destiny’s Child breakups happen? Well the media certainly doesn’t give up on digging into it and I guarantee as time progresses, more about the Knowles Clan & Friends will come to the light. That’s just how things work. One of these chicks are going to write a book about it in 30 years but, all of us will be too old to give a rat’s ass.
Former members LeToya Luckett, Latavia Robertson, and Farrah Franklin were featured on E!’s “Blvd Of Broken Dreams” documentary. LeToya is so cute, and she’s my favorite of the booted members with Tavia close behind. LaTavia seems the most scarred out of all three of them.
