The 64th Annual Golden Globes took place last night in Beverly Hills, CA and black star power was in full effect. Winners for the evening included Jennifer Hudson for Best Supporting Actress In A Musical or Comedy, Eddie Murphy for Best Supporting Actor in A Motion Picture, Forest Whitaker for Best Actor In A Motion Picture, and ‘Dreamgirls’ for Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture.

BAILEY…Correct me if I’m wrong but the same could be said about Jamie and Eddie. All of them are singers/musicians. Why isolate Beyonce and Jennifer? Actors oftentimes can relate to the characters they are playing because of past experience as well. To say that it wasn’t a stretch for Beyonce and Jennifer, but it was for Eddie and Jamie just doesn’t make sense to me.
NENE2927…Keep Dr King out of this trifling post. I doubt Beyonce knows her history anyway.
