Jamie won in 2005, not last year. And it was because of people like Halle, that even half of these so-called actors even think it is atainable to even get an award. Yeah they, black folks, knew the awards were there, but Denzel and Halle helped make those awards culture. If it wasn’t for those two and a few others, black folks wouldn’t even be paying attention to those award shows. You say where is the black love? But you’ll turn around and make a smart comment about one of Halles movies,so stop it already.

First off, Congrats to Jennifer, Eddie and Forest on their wins!!

Second, everyone looked lovely, except for Beyonce! I’m sorry, she just looked ridicoulous. I am a fan of hers, but when you’re whack your whack. I agree with #21, black people seem to praise her even when it’s not worthy. Anyone who thought that dress was pretty, doesn’t have much taste. She looked like she didn’t belong there. I just knew she was going to come looking fabulous and she dissappointed me.

I did like Jennifer’s dress because it seemed to fit the overall look for the evening. It seemed that everyone’s attire was a bit subdued this year. Will and Jada looked stunning, Keisha Whitaker looked nice, Vanessa … and Mary looked nice, but I wasn’t feeling the hair. Even Tracey Edmonds was looking nice.

I have to say, sumthin looks kinda off w-the face of miss B….is it just me or does it look like she had her lips done in pic#5? would not surprize me (Shakes Head)..;-(
