Congrats to Jen, Eddie and Forrest. I didn’t like Beyonce’s dress at all, it looks great on her but it seems like it was for the wrong event. She does not seem elegant at all. She should have toned it down a bit. I think Jennifer and everyone else looked fab. I am sorry to say but Beyonces almost looked like trash. The first thought that came to my mind was “hooker”. I’m a Beyonce fan and I think the difference between a fan a stan, and a hater is OBJECTIVITY. Stans and haters ARE NOT objective. I call it like I see it and I don’t let fanaticism get in the way of the truth.

1. Beyonce is BEAUTIFUL.

2. Beyonce is a great entertainer (especially in this day and age when an artist is considered “good” if they can sing on key and dance at the same time). Is she the best singer out there? Hell nah. Is she the best dancer out there? Hell nah. BUT she does a good job of doing both and keeping people entertained so I’ll give her props for that.

3. Beyonce is a horrible, I repeat horrible actor. She sucks. Like someone said earlier–she just doesn’t have what it takes to be a good actor. No matter how many lessons she get, I think she will probably always suck at acting. That’s ok though, she just needs to stick with what she does best–music.

4. Beyonce over did it for the GG awards. She looked beautiful as usual but her dress was out of place for that awards show. She needed to tone that shit down a little.

Why does it seem like I’ve seen Jennifer Hudson in that dress before…didn’t she wear something similar to this to the premiere of Dreamgirls (I think it was white and it had long sleeves). I wish she would have worn something with more color like she did at the Critics Choice Awards (that gold dress). She would have looked so much better. Man it’s 2007 and it’s fucking sad that it’s a big deal that a black actor/actress getting an award is any different than another actor/actress getting an award. I mean it’s like hollywood is finally recognizing in 2000 fucking seven …oh black actors can act too. And is it me or do you usually have one awards when all the black actors win? Look at 2002 when halle berry and denzel both won an oscar and at these awards the same thing (and monsters ball really sucked bad and training day was average). I know the actors who won at these awards hit aces with their performances but it’s like when hollywood decides to give out awards to black actors/actresses they do it all at once and it comes off as kind of fake…like it was planned or something…..To those who don’t understand what I mean it’s like if their was a black man who was a head liner for the oval office and their was a big possibility he would get in people would be making such a big deal when it fact it should’nt be a big deal. I mean it’s 2007 and the fact that a black man can’t be a headliner for president without people making it a big issue shows how far off the great “american” dream is. What i’m trying to relate, to the fools who will misinterpret this, is black actors getting a golden globe, oscar etc. should’nt be any bigger news than other actors getting an award BECUSE THEY EARNED IT like everybody else. it’s just sad that it’s 2007 and hollywood is finally waking up and seeing and recognizing that black actors can in fact act and therefore be recognized with the accolades that go with being an a-list actor.
