Beyonce Knowles dressed as Alice in Wonderland for Disney’s new ad campaign. The new advertisements will feature some Hollywood stars as recognizable Disney characters. Annie Leibovitz was hired as the photographer.
The first batch of ads feature David Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Beyonce, Lyle Lovett, and Oliver Platt.
Word is, Annie is looking for some celebs to play The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and other characters.

Wow, Beyonce as Alice! She looks so good, I’ve never seen a tanned (dont get mad at me for using that word!!) person looking like a professional Alice! She looks very good, Scarlett and David also look VERY great!
I have to say that I like the idea that Disney has going on here. Using well known celebrities to promote older fairy tales is a great idea. Kids look up to these people, so they will grasp to these pictures and want to see the stories.
But now, from a picture aspect here of the Alice in Wonderland. I must ask the question: “Why this picture? And why use Beyonce?” Beyonce is very beautiful, don’t get me wrong. But I feel that she doesn’t fit the Alice in Wonderland part very well. For some reason, I see her as playing a more grown up and elegant character like “Sleeping Beauty”. Not a young teenage girl that runs through tunnels after a little man.
For the picture, I feel that this was a terrible choice to use and promote. The look on Beyonce face screams lifeless and boring. I don’t get that feeling that she is flying around in a Tea Cup in a different and bizarre world. I get more the feeling of asking myself “What the hell is she doing”. Which I feel takes away from what is trying to conceived in the photo. I also think that Beyonce body makes it for an even worse picture. She looks lifeless and blah. Not the adventures and curious girl that Alice is portrayed as in the book or movie.
I feel like this picture is an epic fail imo. Disney could of done better as they have done so far with the previous pictures.
I think Willow Smith would make a GREAT ALice in Wonderland!?
