Well peeps check this and since I am an older poster. I have two kids, I had my first child at 26 and I was a size 5, my body snapped back after my first child. Then I had my son at 32 and he was a very big baby and it was harder for me to get my body back the way I had it before I had him. Alot of that is genetics too and you have to also look at how kim looked when she was pregnant. She wasnt a big huge house. She probably worked out while pregnant which alot of us ladies dont do when we are pregnant. She ate the right foods. I am pretty sure she had a nutritionist too. True enough, no one knows what happens b/t Kim and Diddy. For all we know, she might cheat on him as well. But, I will say, as a married woman, if I heard rumors about my husband, whether they were true or false, I would be pissed. I had 2 C-sections and all I have to say is. If I had the $$ like they do, I would have had a tummy tuck and lipo right after giving birth. Kelly Ripa did it. I don’t care how well your genes are, I only gained 12 pounds with my last baby and I have 3. I did’nt come back that strong. I’m not saying it can’t happen, I’m saying money plays a good part in alot of women in bouncing back after having babies. Especially people with images to uphold and people with money. we all fall short… so I am not judging.

Though it’s not the traditional way and many people believe it’s sinful, maybe their relationship and their “family” works for them. In the Essence interview, it seems that Kim is not trying to be married. Whatever they are doing and however they are doing it, seems to work for them. Yes, there are so many stories about Diddy’s infidelity, but he is still the father of her son [before the twins] and he has pretty much raised her son by another man as his own even during the JLo days.

There doesn’t seem to be any abuse, and he seems to be a good father. Maybe that’s what she wants - a man to father her children [not necessarily a husband] and if you only want a father - then you might as well pick one who is good with the kids and can take care of you and yours financially. And he is no fool either, he wants kids [but maybe not a wife] so maybe he got with someone he knows is a good mother, who will take care of his kids.

Yeah - they could have done the whole Donald Trump thing, and get married, have a mistress, have babies, and in a few years, divorce and get another wife - and repeat until you die, but maybe they have an understanding.

As far as having to explain their lifestyle to the kids — it may be better than some of the conversations some of these other folk have to have with their kids.

Ayanna, you’re right. Everybody doesn’t have to get married to have a successful, loving relationship. But in order for anyone to have a loving relationship, there has got to be respect and trust in it. If you’re in polygamist marriage, then you accept the fact that there are other wives there. Those wives don’t expect the man to stray out of the marriage. Trust and respect. In a relationship, you have to be able to respect and trust that person. If you don’t have that, what’s the point of being in a relationship with that person? You can always remain friends “with benefits”.

Monagamy is going out of style, huh? Is this what we have reduced ourselves to? I guess some individuals don’t mind sharing their significant others. I can see why some men are so open and free with what they do now. If Kim doesn’t mind sharing her man, you’re right. That’s her business. If that doesn’t bother her, then let her live and be happy.
