#8, um no, on so many different grounds. How can you even compare that crusty a– man in “Monster’s Ball” to Mr. Armani Model?! Even though I didn’t like that character, she deserves her Oscar just for doing love scenes with that man. She was very convincing in that role and I know that had to be hard. Bruh…you ain’t lying. I really wasn’t feeling Sanaa Lathan until I saw her in Nip/Tuck. Something about her just jumps off the tv that dosen’t happen in movies to me.
Halle is beautiful, but she’s mixed and I’ve noticed alot of us tend to sway their way due to color and features. It’s nice to see a fine black woman with natural beauty.

Okay, does anyone have any PROOF about Halles Supposed “Plastic Surgery”? Or, as usual, you’re just going by what you think? I remember once Halle saying on Oprah that she had a weight problem when she was younger (i.e. her Miss Ohio days) and she lost weight. Like a lot of women when they gain and loose weight (i.e. getting pregnant) you’re nose can easily spread, sorry learned that in one of my classes LOL. She STILL looks the same, but older, then she did back then. Once again I think its Just people WANTING her to have plastic surgery.

Halle has said with her own mouth that she has had surgery, “I have had some surgeries”. That was the extent of it. This was back in the day when she was the ‘it’ girl and ppl was raving about her beauty.
To me, it’s obvious. I think ppl are used to ‘bad’ surgery jobs.
When Halle first came out I always thought she was pretty, and still do. She used to play on this sitcom I think the name was, ‘Living Dolls’. It was short lived. She was the only AA female in this house with other women. Her breasts were not as voluptuous as they are now. She has made a lot of physical changes.

@40, The only thing I have ever heard about Halle saying that she has had surgeries is when she had a scar on her forhead from a car accident. But thats it. I don’t see anywhere obvious that Halle has had plastic surgery. But I guess people see what they want to see so whatever. Sometimes people look too much into things. Because people can’t find anything wrong with her, they’ll just jump on the “Halles had plastic surgery” band wagon. So sad.

Halle has had I believe two nose jobs. She was pretty before the nose job. I remember when I found out she was biracial, I was surprised. But her features now are leaning more towards European features.

I think the real issue is young girls and women look at celebs and try to attain something that they themselves (celebs) can’t attain without a make-up artist, hair stylist, waredrobe stylist, the perfect lighting, airbrushing and sometimes plastic surgery.
I just found out about the airbrushing a few yrs ago on ‘Good Morning America’.

Now you know that make-up artists usually draw a ‘highlighter’ line down the center of the nose. Then it is covered by a light foundation. It gives the illusion of a thinner nose.

Before anyone says anything, I am not trying to knock anyone who has had plastic surgery. I had plastic surgery after I had my son. I have family members who have had little ‘beauty’ tricks performed.
When you get involved in things like this, it’s REALLY easy to spot other ppl who have done things.

#53…I remember seeing an old show with Diane Carol. My God she was breathtaking. I mean she was pretty on ‘Dynasty’ and at that time she had to have been in her fifties. So the old show I saw she was maybe in her 20′s or early 30′s.

If Sanaa is a dime, then Halles a silver dollar! Holla! Nah, Sanaa is a pretty woman, but her attitude looks like it stinks. Just an observation. Because so many of those women fool the hell out of all of us with their looks, the way I judge them is who looks good without all the hair weave and makeup. Like who could wear a short haircut and is still bad, because anyone can slap on two tons of hair weave and makeup and be cute. But with a short cut all you see is their face. That’s why Halle always lands on the super bad list because without all the glam, she’s still banging. Even in candid pics like these. Same for Nia Long.
