Good, intelligent and will rounded men are a dime a dozen, especially now with as you mentioned all the hype surrounding women in show biz, how warped our minds have become into thinking that they are real and all women should strive for that image. From the R&B Divas down to the Video Vixens, this is what the young men and womenin our society think women should absolutely look like and anything less is null and void. Our beautiful young women, in spirit, mind and body are over looked or tossed to the side because they don’t fit the description and sadly, I was on of those girls. When I found the love of my life I was jaded and almost in disbelief but it turned out to be real(fortunately for me)and words cannot express how I would love for nothing more than for good women like me, obviously ones on this site and everywhere else to find good men like you and my insignificant other. No matter how flawless, air-brushed, photoshopped, not-one-hair-out-of-place these celebrity women are it can never compare to the rich, raw, pure beauty that shines from within and no amount of money, tweezing and hair teasing can obtain that. I just wish more people understood and grasped that concept. Ok I’m done! lol

Halle has had plastic surgery. Her nose, possibly her cheeks, and cosmetic dentistry for veneers. But, she had to compete in Hollywierd since she wanted to be an actress and now look, she’s a star making 14 mil a film. And who ever did her nose job did well. Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie had nose jobs too.
Anyway, before I was going to work on Thursday, that Dr Phil knockoff show, Dr. Keith Ablow or something had Halle’s older half sister on there. They have the same father. Even though she had dark skin, the sister looked like Halle before she had plastic surgery. Same eyes, nose, and cheeks. The similarities were striking.
She finally looks at ease with this relationship…and they appear to be friends…which is something that most couples and.or married couples do not establish before embarking in a relationship. And for the critics who despise her dating a white man…i say hey, she tried itt he other way and it didnt work out…why not expand your options…particularly, i LOVE my Black men…but given my experiences I am more interested in giving those men out there a chance who are willing to do rught and have a “do right” mentality…hopefully that will mean that I will wind up with with a brother…but in life..some times things do not alwasy go according to planned…and maybe that is why a lot of us sisters have been hurt i the past because we dream in a box…and maybe gthe right man has passed you by because you didn’t even glance his wasy because he didn’t have the “complexion for the connection”…check your values and focus on what is really important in life…

So b/c we were discussing the OBVIOUS surgeries she has had means we are trying to tear her down?
If anyone wants to say Halle didn’t have surgeries b/c WE WEREN’T THERE, then it’s fair to say the same about Vivica because WE WEREN’T THERE EITHER.
And in response to the ‘who cares if she did or didn’t have surgery’, I don’t think anybody REALLY cares. It’s not that serious. It’s called a dialog. No one is trying to ruin her career. Goodness gracious.

Women think that if they accept something less than that then they are settling. That is not true.
I think if you shoot for two out of the three it’s more realistic. Or accept a man if he fulfills 75-80% of your list. And he may be a white man.

I do think she is stunning though. I know this blog is about the pic above so Halle and Gab getting into a cab is so rediculous. Who cares! I think her style is off but when she is dressed for an award show she is unbelievably gorgeous. I think it is great to see couples in all shapes, colors, and sizes. I think people forget that there is a lot of couples like this in big cities such as NY, Los A, Paris, and London. It’s so not a big deal. As long as two people are happy, what difference does it make.
People are all the same from the inside out. Everyone wants to be loved and cared for. I think Halle has been labeled a problem child so to speak but we fail to realise that a lot of men get with her for superficial reasons and maybe she has really needed to feel that it is not all about her physical beauty. Pretty women sometimes have the worst luck in relationships because people just want to be with them for selfish reasons. I think Halle is a victim of this. Lets not forget that she did not grow up with a father in her life so she is not going to be able to make the best choices when it comes to men. She did not have a role model there with her mother. And, being biracial poses some issues. She has had to deal with some things in everyday life that have made her very confused about who she is regardless if her mother told her that she needs to identify as a Black woman. She says she is Black but then has to turn around and acknowledge that she came from the womb of a non-Black woman. Its just an interesting thing to have to make since of. I think she is beautiful but I also think you can be dark as night with kinky short hair and be just as beautiful. Ie, just look at those tall statuesque women in Africa. But beauty is just as much about the inside as it is about the outside. It really does start from within. So until we know someone personally, we really don’t know how beautiful they truly are.
I do think they make a cute couple. Doesn’t matter to me if it is real or not because at the end of the day, it’s not my relationship.

Stop hating on Gabriel. He is sexy and he hasn’t done anything to make me think she needs to drop him (other than the fact that he comes from an unstable family). Still a BIG step up from beaters and cheaters. The fact that they both don’t come from stable nuclear families make me think that they will have a hard time, BUT it could make them more willing to make it work. Regardless of who she’s with, I just wish her the best. She’s had so much heartache and just like any woman who’s been through the drama she’s been through, I wish her happiness. Regardless of how successful you are professionally, not having your personal life in order can be heartbreaking. I was rooting for her and Michael. At this point, it doesn’t matter as long as she’s happy.

BTW, a lot of celebrities have plastic surgery to improve any flaws they may have when entering into the entertainment business. Their manager or employer may even request the changes. It is definitely a “rite of passage”!

I wore braces for 3 years and although my teeth are straight, they are not as white as I want them. So everyone can find at least one (1) thing they would improve if given the opportunity!
