Michael’s twin - La Toya Jackson was sighted shopping and having dinner this week. Jackson flashed her spankin’ new police badge she earned on the celebreality show “Armed & Famous” (yes it is real unfortunately).
Something about La Toya is just so funny to me. No its not her face…she’s just very giddy and I never realized it until seeing a post about her on Rich’s FourFour blog. I find her personality to be very humorous…

On Thursday, February 1st, former supermodel Tyra Banks is going to take on the media’s obsession with weight and speak out about it on her talk show. She will address those unflattering bathing suit photos that were recently plastered in tabloids and on gossip blogs - claiming that she gained 40 lbs.

I’ve made millions of dollars with the body I have, so where’s the pain in that? If I was in pain, I would have dieted. The pain is not there – the pain is someone printing a picture of me and saying those (horrible) things.
I’m not sure what Ashanti was thinking about, but I really believe that this is a poor return to the scene. There are so many other things going on with music (even if it is stuff redone from the 80’s) right now and she chooses to pretty much take an entire chorus from a rap song and try to flip it and make it an R&B track? I really thought that after hearing “My Number, Babe,” Ashanti was going come up with something more than the typical mid-tempo track with a featuring by Jim Jones (that’s right, let’s all hop on the band-wagon). I don’t know, this is a tad bit disappointing. Her writing’s also usually a little better. I can’t see myself riding or clubbing to this. But hey, you be the judge…

Actress and R&B singer Brandy was involved in a fatal, four-car accident on a Los Angeles freeway last month that started when her sports utility vehicle hit another car from behind, police said on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old former star of the TV comedy “Moesha” was not injured, but the driver of the car she rear-ended with her Land Rover in the December 30 crash died, according to the California Highway Patrol. The victim was identified as Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, a married mother of one, said CHP spokesman Leland Tang.
No charges or arrests have been made in connection with the accident, and no formal determination has been made as to what caused the crash, which was first reported by the celebrity news Web site TMZ.com.
He said the chain-reaction wreck started when Brandy’s vehicle ran into the back of the car driven by Aboudihaj, whose car struck a third vehicle, then swerved into the freeway’s center divider and was broad-sided by a fourth automobile.
A statement issued by Brandy’s publicist said: “She wishes to publicly express her condolences to the family of the deceased” and asks the media to “respect the privacy of everyone involved at this time.” READ MORE @ REUTERS>>>
TMZ.com also spoke with a witness who described Brandy at the scene of the accident. The witness stated that Brandy “got upset, talking about how it was all her fault … she didn’t stop, kept saying how she hit the lady,”. He added that Norwood “walked in front of traffic, crossing the lanes of speeding cars, then she did it again. People were honking at her to get out of the road. She was obviously disoriented and highly upset.”
I kind of shocked that the news is just getting out when it happened almost a month ago.
