Paris was one of my fave’s on her season of A.I. she has great vocals but Im not really feelin the song.

The song is ok. I don’t watch American Idol unless it’s on at work and I still try not to pay it attention. It doesn’t suprise me that she didn’t make it. They seem to cut a lot of talented people early on and hang on to lesser talents because they have a certain look or attitude. And I am at work now and they are watching American Idol so I’m about to go to the store to kill some time.

I just can’t. Is she seriously putting this out and calling it DIFFERENT? Is that suppose to make us eat it up? No shade, but judging off this joint she sounds like she is trying too hard. The enunciation, the production doesnt sound professional, which makes the whole joint come off as a mixtape tune. She will do good in the GOSPEL arena, but NOT in R and B. Put that WHERE? Back there with Nicole Ray, Blu Cantrell, Sunshine Anderson…and all the others who sing WELL, but dont have the IT to make it in the industry.

HAM! She was on the show and always will be. I see she tuned it down being that I saw her as being ‘too grown’ on the show. A lot of folks were not feeling this little girl as time went on. She went from the innocent bubbly girl to the ‘work it out let me bounce my ass on this stage’ act. Ever since that performance I was completely turned off! It was just…wrong. Like wacthing your little sister or niece shake her ass, embarrassing.

The song is okay, I think she should have gone the Soul/R&B Route. Her voice is too strong and heavy for pop. If she would record a soulful ballad she would kill it. She has a beautiful voice.

I agree. Paris has an old ass deep rooted slave spirit - kinda Harriet Tubman-ish. She acted like all the other AI contestants were her babies, the way she used to cry when people got kicked off. She was never one of my favs. I could never warm up to her…that damn speaking voice is like a country Michel’le.
