Yo is dat mario’s girl? She’s aite.
Fifty’s kickin street tales y’all! Very original and innovative!!
G Unit Publishing huh..I’m going to have to research that more
here’s why…
I thinking aout writing a book..yeah, It’s about time..
I don’t know exactly what I’m going to write about, but I AM going to write SOMETHING…
I’m currently doing a market analysis to get a feel for the current trends in Book publishing, and I have come to a few conclusions:
I’ve been reading a LOT of fiction lately just to see what’s out there, and I have been researching books by Black Fiction writers..
Does anyone out there read books by NOIRE…
She is this Black Woman from Harlem and she write erotic tales..
I don’t really care for these type of books, but the market out there for this books are off the chain !!!!
I have a good friend who publishes Black Erotic Books, and She just brought herself a BMW 750i, and paid cash for it…
She making crazy money publishing Black Erotic Novels, so I decided to look into that market…
I watched about 15-20 Black Woman purchase erotic novels as I was sitting in Borders working on my Laptop and drinking Latte coffee..
Anyways, getting back to NOIRE.
She is a Black Woman from Harlem, and she is the latest craze in the publishing industry..
She was the Writer of this book called the G Spot which was a big hit..Last weekend, I purchased her new book “Candy Licker” and that book was very disturbing..I was appaled by the description of sex (actually) rap that was DETAILED in this book…I keep saying to myself, Is this what Young Black Woman are interested in..Unprotected Sex with Multiple partners, Force Sex with Men using everything except their penis (one character was sticking Bottles of Moet & Loaded Pistols in the Female Character Vagina).
I came away disgusted & appaled.
I don’t think my pastor (or GOD) would be too pleased if I started writing Erotic Novels under a pen name, so I DEFINATLY won’t be writing those type of books..
More than likely I will write some sort of Motivational Tome for Black Men to be empowered..
I wondered where Mario had been. Looks like he was busy making a movie. Cool and he’s handsome…kinda thick nose but still cute.
Guess what Bill, Noire is doing a book with 50!
Check it out: http://i10.tinypic.com/33zcxh5.jpg
Common = ????…..sneaky…???….shiny…???
The brother in black suit standing behind 50 = shiny!
Cedric needs to diet!
The sister standing behind Will.I.Am got some junk mail in her inbox!
Nick Cannon should take note from Mario…how to present a shorty!
50 cent insist on setting black folks back 50 more years
MARIO NEEDS TO LAY OFF THE MAC FOUNDATION. HOMIE IS LOOKING LIKE BIRTHDAY CAKE.
50 IS PLAIN UGLY.
Did anyone read 50′s book?
Mario need to stop recycling those video chhickkken heads– there are plenty of beautiful women in this world!!!!
LOL@Meatloaf…although I like Common (with his hat on) there’s something about him..can’t put my finger on it.
Common isn’t short…he’s 6’1″.
I am a reader of urban fiction so “Death Before Dishonor” I do wanna read. Do ya thing 50.

Will I Am always looks like a homeless guy.

@Bill
I am a big fan of NOIRE, i have read all her books and I loved them!
Bill…I hear what u are saying but that motivational shit is BORING!!!
Noire’s book are off the hook and overflowing with excitement. I do not do any of the things in the books, but i like to read about it though.
Too bad 50 will never be able to actually read any of the books since he only has a 2nd grade reading level and all. But I’m sure Lloyd Banks will read him a couple pages every night when he tucks him into bed.
ok, it’s been said a before again and again on this board, and I’m gonna say it again..Common is so FINE….
Mario’s chick is cute!
Fiddy is looking good. Common makes me wanna do something strange for some change.
*Climbing on the soapbox with microphone in my hand* Bill, Not to attack many of these brothers and sisters, cause they are trying to get paid, but I too am appalled at some of what I am reading, what I also think is, if this is what people think sex is about, they are too off base. None of the books describe love in a decent way (and before anyone says anything, I am not a right wing christian, not that I have anything against them, but people always assume)…
I have read Zane, Noire and as far as I’m concerned they are boring. It has been done before. Grown women are reading her and praising her. Which makes me wonder where have most of them have been… Jackie Collins (sister of Joan Collins from Dynasty) wrote a book back in the day called “Chances”…lord knows I read that book at 14 yrs old and that book taught me more than any other book I’ve read since. The books I read now are not only boring in sexual descriptions, they are also vile. If this is a reflection of what my children would have to look forward to, then I am glad that I do not have any. Everyone feels that in order to be “sexual” you have to be half naked, hanging off a pole, screwing with a Moet bottle (and I had a uncle who did that to someones daughter back in the 70′s and it was disgusting then)….Please, it’s ridiculous…Is it any wonder that people need Viagra when the get older? They can’t please themselves normally when they get older from doing stupid s&^t earlier in life.
Bill, I think you should write motivational items. Not everyone on this earth likes to read mindless dribble. If it made the rest of them rich: Iylana Vanzant, George Fraser, Oprah, Dennis Kimbro, by all means, you will find an audience. And have your booksigning at the Hue-Man Bookstore in Harlem, I’ll look you up!
Somebody has to keep the flame going…*Climbing down the soapbox with microphone in my hand*
Oh yeah and I agree, Common is FINE!
Bill, ask yourself whether you want to write a book that will have immediate gratification or a book that will have a lasting impact and help people build their futures.

My New Best Friend , MoBetta40..
I agreee & cosign 101%
The books that read by Zane & Noire are VERY boring, not well written, and depressing from the sexual & living single aspect.
If that how the other half is living then I’m BLESSED to to be married with kids…
Thanks for your advice MoBetta40 !!
I a Christian Man, and I don’t think I would glorify God by writing trashy, nasty novels..
It would be more beneficial for the kingdom, my community & my people If I would write books that would uplift my race.
Be Blessed Mo’Betta40 !!!!
It very nice to communicate with a person who writes well…
Your Boy,
Bill
I guess no one has read 50′s book then…oh well.
50 is cool.
Cedric looks like he’s just cooning himself! He’s getting alot of wack roles in movies. When is he going to stop excepting the goofy nigga acts and start being real. Stop Dancing nigga!
And De ray, It’s about time you get to walk on the carpet. He’s been on Comic view for like ten years and got nowhere. I just seen him in a car commercial not too long ago. he’s wack too!
#40, I agree, Cedric needs a good movie too. This latest one, is getting terrible reviews… how many more chances is he gonna get in Hollywood?

So you read CANDY LICKER, and you LIKED THAT BOOK ??
That book is so disgsting..
The Character HURRICANE is recorded as having sex, with one of his sex slaves DAUGHTER a 15 year old girl named Asia… and he was Penetrating her with a Moet Bottle .
Hurrican regulary rapes Candy in the book placing all types of foreign object (guns, bottles, dildo’s) in her private area…At one point in the book, Hurricane comes into the bedroom after working out and FORCES Candy to lick the sweat off his Penis, balls & his behind..She speak about tasting his sweat, funk, ordor, and the stench of his behind…
I couldn’t believe the stuff I was reading…
This is utter garbage (This book at least).
G Spot was worst, than Candy Licker
Here’s a review of G Spot from Amazon…
Reviewer: J.C. Wallington “jnettefrommi” (Detroit, MI) – See all my reviews
G-Spot by Noire is not for the faint at heart. A mature audience sticker needs to be on each book, for this book is X rated. G-Spot is violent and delves into sexual and emotional abuse. For those who live close to the streets, this may be the norm, but for most of the people I know, to live this type of life is unimaginable.
Born to a crack addicted mother and raised by a sanctified number running grandmother, Juicy is 19 years old when she becomes Granite McKay’s woman. Granite, better known as G, is the king of the drug world in Harlem. G’s position places Juicy and her brother Jimmy in a world of luxury that they have never known before. With all that she is privy too, Juicy is unhappy. She is sexually unsatisfied and has to rely on her own fingers to bring relief. Much to Juicy’s dismay, her younger, mentally unstable brother is in awe of G and wants nothing more than to work for G. The bright spot for Juicy is when G’s son Gino returns to Harlem to work in his father’s empire. Juicy and Gino find themselves dangerously attracted to each other. The punishment for double crossing G is brutal.
G-Spot has been called urban fiction meets erotica, but each reader will have to make their own determination of what they call erotica. The sex scenes are graphic and sometimes none to pretty. The punishments endured by Juicy are horrific. However, if you can get past the explicit violence and sex, the story underneath is well written about a young girl who grows up too fast, expects too much and finds out that living high is not what it is cracked up to be. While shocked through most of the book, it was a page-turner because I had to find out what was going to happen next. While I can not recommend G-Spot to everyone, if someone asks I will encourage them to pick it up and read it for themselves.

MMMMM….. Common!! He is looking pretty tasty
I’ve read some of Noire’s books. Disgusting like Zane. Brother’s books to read is Kwan out of Harlem and Solomon Jones (Pipe Dreams). Kwan is straight out bad has hell. I luv Steet Dreams, Eve, etc. Very graphic violence though and some sex, but not as disgusting as some of the sisters books. I’m an avid reader of urban street novels and these two brothers books you can’t put down. Growing up in the hood, Newark & NY, I relate definitely.
Sorry, Street Dreams
@ Bill
I have read novels by these authors and some, I find interesting. They describe the DRAMA that can actually happen in one’s life. I have read both of Noire’s books but I doubt if I will read the one with 50. Some other good authors are Carl Weber and Dwayne S. Joseph. Their books are urban fiction but not as graphic. I just cannot get into Zane’s books b/c they are too graphic.
Somethin’ about Cedric that reminds me of Gerald Levert….
50 Cent has gotten fat.
Why are there so many ads for Freedom Writers?! That movie better make a lot of money. They’ve spent so much promoting it.

A Review of “The Coldest Winter Ever” by Sister Souljah (Amazon)
Reviewer: Cydney Rax “rmn1994″ (Houston, TX United States) – See all my reviews
The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah is a thoroughly engrossing, simply riveting book that I am very happy to have read. It is like a tell-all story from an urban teenaged girl’s point-of-view. From the drug life to the privileged life, the story takes you on a journey that you will never forget. There’s so much that can be said about this book, but I’ll start with the main character Winter. This girl is sooo real, so authentic that I wondered “Who is Winter? Where is she?” SHE EXISTS out there somewhere. Sister Souljah did an excellent job characterizing Winter as well as the others (Midnight, Lauren, Santiaga, etc.). The way the story was written you were allowed to know Winter’s every thought, whether you agreed with those thoughts or not. Winter was defined by what happened to her and how she reacted to the things that she experienced (mother’s accident, father’s jailing, being forced to live among strangers, lack of money, love for money…). And the plot had many twists and turns, shockers and laughs. My favorite line is “Bounce, nigga,” which is what Winter said to a ‘white man’. It was hilarious. Overall, I loved the story, the writing, the character, and some of the messages conveyed in this piece of work. It is highly recommended…a book that has “FILM ME” written all through its pages.
From Library Journal
The trials and tribulations of young Winter Santiaga are described in gritty detail in this coming-of-age novel, the first by the phenomenally popular rap star who frequently lectures on the themes of this novel: overcoming teenage pregnancy, fatherless households, and drug use in African American communities. As the oldest daughter of a successful drug dealer, Winter lacks for nothing. But after her father moves the family from the projects to a mansion on Long Island, Winters life begins to come apart. Her beautiful mother is shot, her father is sent to prison, and the familys possessions are seized by the government. Winter and her three sisters, Mercedes, Lexus, and Porsche, become wards of the state. Finally, arrested and convicted of transporting drugs in a boyfriends car, Winter receives a 15-year jail term. Sister Souljah herself appears as a character, urging Winter and other young black women to stand up to the men in their lives, abstain from drugs, and practice safe sex. Although the novels writing is amateurish, the message is sincere.
