I’m sure you all heard the rumor about Tyrese hitting his pregnant girlfriend during an altercation. Word is that someone exaggerated the story. Here is the scoop from TMZ:
The baby mama’s attorney tells TMZ, “Reports that Tyrese punched my client — his girlfriend — in the arm, thigh or anywhere else are false. It is true, Mr. Gibson and his girlfriend had been arguing. She became very emotional and distressed during the argument and called 911 in an attempt to get a mediator. Mr. Gibson, frustrated, left the home. My client, Mr. Gibson’s girlfriend, who is 11 weeks pregnant, then became more upset and began throwing up. When the paramedics arrived, concerned about the baby, they took her to the hospital. Fortunately, she was fine. Once at the hospital, she was asked by a nurse whether she had been assaulted. She said no. She was then asked what her pain level was on a scale of zero to ten. She said zero. She then discharged herself. Mr. Gibson and his girlfriend are very much still in love, together and excited about their expectant child. She is quite saddened that this event was so distorted.”
I’m still mad Tyrese hasn’t spoken out about it, but it’s whatever. Glad it’s semi-cleared up.
Whatever I still believe for some reason she retracted her story who knows she may have been lying. *toots up lips like yeah right* If TMZ was wrong then they must’ve been half wrong because they did come up with true facts according to her/her lawyer. There is indead a pregnant gf, they also had an argument, she indead called the cops, he fled the scene and she went to the hospital but they were wrong about him hitting her? I just hope this situation is a forewarning to you women. You see how stupid and dumb you will look when you do stuff like this. Oh and lawyers perjure themselves all the time. Should they? No, but they do. And would he actually be perjuring himself if she called him and told her the retracted statement only? All she had to do was call him, tell him about the alleged rumor, deny that he hit her and ask that he make a statement. That way, by law he’d only be defending his client based on what she told him.
125.Exaclty. Perjury has nothing to do with this because they aren’t in anybody’s courtroom and the attorney just repeated what his or her “client” repeated to him or her. Just like a criminal defense attorney might know damn well his client killed a person but if their client has told him he didn’t do it then he has to present what the client said. True or not…he’s not gonna get in trouble if the client is lying.
They just sent in a statement and put lawyer next to it so it’ll look like an official statement. Hell the publicist could have written it, got a homegirl that was an attorney and told her to sign her name to it for all we know.

I’m studying to become a social worker and after reading this story, red flags were going up all over the place for me. It sounds like a huge ass cover-up story. Like “Baby, I’m sorry…I promise I’ll never do this again. Yeah Bill, and according to that TMZ story, there was no grounds for arrest! So, why should he have turned himself in??? The police don’t arrest people who have zero pain, very much in love and excited about new child! He didn’t elude the police! He took a walk or attended a meeting! Bill, I can see where you are coming from. But if I were to believe her story also released by TMZ aren’t I still guilty of going on what TMZ said? Why is one of their (TMZ) stories (him hitting her) gossip and lies and the other one (her retraction statement) is not? And that questioned could be reversed. Like someone said, on an earlier post TMZ was the first one to release both stories, some people believe the first story is the truth and some people believe the retracted story is the truth. Through her lawyer she issued a statement that said, yes they had an argument, yes the police were called, yes he left the scene, and yes she went to the hospital. Those are the exact same thing that TMZ reported, if it were bogus, how then did they know every single detail that according to her via her lawyer happened except the fact that he was supposed to have hit her. Why didn’t her lawyer release her name, My client Jane Doe etc…? Unless the whole thing is made up the incedent never happened and their was never a retraction story from his alleged pregnant girlfriend. Bottom line is there are people who believe that he did it and people who don’t. And everyone is entitled to their opinion even if I disagree with someones opinion it doesn’t mean mine is right to them, so it’s nothing to debate about. Either way I wish them good luck with the baby.

IMO – Honestly, when I saw the post of him allegedy abusing his girlfriend I didn’t for a sec think it was true, I honestly thought it was a rumor. I didn’t even comment on it. If she had told her attorney to issue a statement that said something along the lines of, “There are things being said about Tyrese and myself that are not true, he did not put his hands on me.” That would’ve been cool and I would’ve believed that. If he would’ve released a statement something along the lines of, “There is a rumor that I abused my girlfriend, there is no truth to it.” For me, that would’ve been cool, I would’ve believed that. I believe she is lying; Not because of the source (TMZ), or I believe everything that I read or hear, not because I want to put someone down for trying to have a legal, successful career, not because I’m a hater, I’m not some bitter abused or past abused black woman, or a man hater, I love sexy, dark, baldheaded men.
