I was in the club this past Friday and the DJ was playing that song that goes “…watch out for the big girls”, and the DJ goes to all my big girls if you are 165 and up make noise.

I was like 165 isn’t that big in my eyes…especially if u someone tall as shyt like Tyra. I just think America has this fycked up concept about being small.

The guy I’m dating now considers me to be thick and I’m 5′8 and 145-150 pounds. When I was 130-135 pounds men would say I’m too skinny…now I put some weight on and I definitely get more guys chasing me than ever lol.

Guys love a thick chick…Tyra just should tone up like others previously stated.

I also notice that it is mostly White America that is obsessed with being a size 1 or 2…

I feel like that reason for that is alot (not all) of White women carry their weight differently than alot of Black women.

Like 160 pounds on a 5′8 Black female will look much different than 160 pounds on a 5′8 White female.

Our weight goes to breasts, hips, or or ass…and most of the time a White female’s weight will goes straight to her stomach or thighs. The result is usually not so flattering…

We just carry our weight differently b.cuz a majority of Black females where made to be shapely anyways…its in the genes.

To add to your post which I totally get, it seems to me that Black women are more proportionate too.
White women usually have smaller shoulders and bust in comparison to their hips which may be a contributing factor for the need to get implants. You know what I mean? To balance things out. And a white woman at 160 might look flabby where as a Black woman at 160 looks firm. Muscle mass I guess.

Everyone’s body is built differently, and a weight that is perfectly acceptable for one person might not be healthy for someone else. Also, don’t make the assumption that just because someone’s thin they’re healthy. Some people who are naturally thin consume the unhealthiest diets and some people who are larger eat extremely healthy and are just heir natural body size.

Tyra looks fine IMO, she looks healthy and happy and she’s not carry weight in her midsection, she’s carrying it in her hips and thighs (natural depositories for fat). I find it interesting that Tyra gets called out for being an average size while half of Hollywood is SERVELY underweight.
