Plastic surgery victim, Vivica A. Fox spoke about her highly-publicized surgeries in a recent issue of Upscale Magazine.
The actress says that she loves the way she looks and could care less what we think:
ON HER PLASTIC SURGERY
“It doesn’t affect me what people say. I’m in the entertainment business and people like to see you look good. If there are steps I have to take to look good, I’m going to do it. I don’t hold it against anyone else, but if people want to hold it against me and create their own stories, so be it. If they were in my shoes and they had to do what they had to do to look good, then they would understand my journey. When I look in the mirror I still see Vivica and that’s all that matters to me. If I still look the same that I did 20 years ago then something must be working.”
ON HER FAMOUS GIRLFRIENDS
“Isn’t it wonderful that you see sisters sticking together? A lot of times when women reach a certain status, they don’t have girlfriends on their same level. These are girls that I’ve been friends with for almost 20 years—Tisha, Star. We’ve been with each other through the good, bad and the ugly. The highs and the lows, the rollercoaster rides of success in the entertainment industry. The fact that we’ve made it through all that is the true testament of sisterhood.”

I honestly think she just takes bad pictures since the surgeries. I used to think they were bad mistake, too until I saw her on tv (Dancing with the Stars, The Wendy Williams Experience, and Lisa Raye’s wedding special) and chick looked gorgeous. You could still tell she had surgery, but it was nowhere near as bad as these photos looked.
And I really liked her comment about her friends. One thing I’ve always liked about Vivica is that she always keeps it real (even with the surgeries) and she’s very down to earth. Friendship is nothing to laugh at. Heck, nowadays, sista-hood in any situation is a good thing.

i was watching a document on hbo called “plastic surgery disasters” whch i think is still available on demand. if you’re interested, you should watch it. some woman got liposuction, ended up getting an infection, bedsores (needed her butt stitched up after), recieved gangrene on her toes and had both legs amputated because of complications from the surgery. she now has to use a wheelchair and prosthetic legs. some man had about 4 plastic surgeries on his nose because each surgery, he felt there was something wrong and now his skin is very thin so his nose may collapse or something strange like that. there was also some other woman who had a face lift and now she can’t breathe right along with other problems. it’s honestly a shame…
bottom line is if you don’t like the way i look naturally, then i can’t help you. find someone else to like… i’m not going to get plastic surgery for unnecessary aesthetic reasons.
