Plastic surgery victim, Vivica A. Fox spoke about her highly-publicized surgeries in a recent issue of Upscale Magazine.
The actress says that she loves the way she looks and could care less what we think:
ON HER PLASTIC SURGERY
“It doesn’t affect me what people say. I’m in the entertainment business and people like to see you look good. If there are steps I have to take to look good, I’m going to do it. I don’t hold it against anyone else, but if people want to hold it against me and create their own stories, so be it. If they were in my shoes and they had to do what they had to do to look good, then they would understand my journey. When I look in the mirror I still see Vivica and that’s all that matters to me. If I still look the same that I did 20 years ago then something must be working.”
ON HER FAMOUS GIRLFRIENDS
“Isn’t it wonderful that you see sisters sticking together? A lot of times when women reach a certain status, they don’t have girlfriends on their same level. These are girls that I’ve been friends with for almost 20 years—Tisha, Star. We’ve been with each other through the good, bad and the ugly. The highs and the lows, the rollercoaster rides of success in the entertainment industry. The fact that we’ve made it through all that is the true testament of sisterhood.”
She’s friends with Tisha Campbell (from Martin), and we all know what SHE did to her already big lips. They both made awful decisions as “friends” two damn clowns.

She could have aged naturally and still been beautiful she didn’t need surgery. I could understand if she was one of those people who needed an intervention or something “if it ain’t broke why fix it”

These Hollywood broads are so fixated on the hollywierd they are delusional. She gets Botox and had her nose fixed and got the boobs and whatever else. What is wrong with aging gracefully. Dang your not going to look the same you did when you was 20 and your almost 40 but if you take care of yourself you can retain a youthful look. She does not look good. She has had way to many pictures like the one up top. She has had way more worse days than good ones. Her body is top notch and it should be she doesnt have children or whatever but her face is something she jacked up.

Well now that goes to show you that not ALL older women are more experienced and sexier than younger women. If you have to resort to plastic surgery and dressing like a 22 yr old to get attention then that’s not sexy. Age has nothin to do with anything these days. I’m disappointed in Vivica. I also saw her on Wendy Williams swearing to the High Heavens that she absolutely, positively did not have surgery. She was a beautiful, black queen. I do honestly believe that after 50 she suffered a serious attack of low self-esteem. The whole point of plastic surgery is to NOT look like you’ve had it. Some of these women look as though they had surgery performed by an intern in a back alley for a reduced price. I just had when we as black women don’t know our worth.
Viv has some serious issues if she feels that she HAD to get the nip tuck in order to be her best — but then again, she couldn’t care less what people think. YEA, RIGHT!

When she was in that bootycall movie, she was beautiful…and if she had let herself age gracefully, she still would be. Look at Nia Long, Halle Berry, and even Angela Bassette…all sistas that have been around are getting older naturally. And they all look better, younger, fresher than Vivica. That makes no sense to me. Being in entertainment, she should know it’s not all about looks but also being a positive role model… What is she telling people who look up to her? She looked absolutely fine before, there was nothing wrong with her.
