this is very upsetting news. AS for her daughter, I am not sure how she will truly be affected. She is soo young so its not like she has truly bonded which will help but the baby is with Annas friends in Bahamas. She wasnt even with her in Florida. This is a tragedy. Terrible for her to lose her life so young. And horrible for this child. The next several months are going to be a media frenzy and a crazy mess. I hope there is someone to look out for this child and NOT for the sake of the money.

Where was the intervention? The collapsing didn’t happen over night. She’s been going down and passing out for months and people close to her knew it!!! Why’d they try to sue her b/c of that Trimspa crap–she was just the spokesperson and had nothing to do with its deadly ingredients.
Anna was a naturally pretty girl who was just misguided and naive. Too bad she didn’t live to rehab and raise her baby.

Wow, if you look at it this way–Her Idol, Marilyn Monroe died when she was 36. Anna Nicole was 39.. They both changed their names to be more known in the business, they both died while at home-Marilyn her own, Anna in a hotel. Both going thru some kind of controversy with something, both rumored to be a drug overdose or something to that nature. That is very eerie when you think about it. But for Dannilyn, my prayers are with all involved and I hope the paternity suit goes over well so that she can be raised in a stable home that will not let her forget about who her mother was..

Honestly my main concern is the welfare of the child, b/c I just received custody of my 2 sisters and my mom died 2 years ago.

You never how people/family will act or operate after some one dies. You like to think that no one would take advantage but me and my 2 sisters learned the hard way.

They left us with nothin and now we making it but it has been a hard road. And I pray that they dont do the baby the same way. God see’s all and who ever takes advantage of her God will avenge her so she’ll be alright she has angels all around her.

Death in most cases is very tragic, this situation leaves a lot of speculation. But I just pray her family can find the comfort and strength they need to

Normally I do not post, just read the comments. But for some reason it made me feel sad when I found out she had passed, like it was someone I knew. RIP Anna Nicole Smith. I think someone needs to look at her lawyer/husband, he was in the room when her son died and he was in the next room when she became ill, he is surrounded around too much death, and these people aren’t even related to him.

I don’t trust that diet pill at all. I was taking those pills and didn’t know i was pregnant next thing i knew i was having chills, shaking, and hallucinating like crazy. My husband had to carry me to the bed. You know what, after that episode, I had a misscarage. Take my advice DON’T TAKE THAT SHIT!!!

Its too much of a coincidence that both her and her son died with in 5 months. I think it was the drugs. The news says she was traveling with a nurse so she must have been feeling ill lately. I cant wait for the autospy to come back so we can put an end to this mystery. I suspect the lawyer/husband has something to do with this too.

1) A DNA test will be given to that child to determine the father.

2)The courts have not finished litigation about the money she is suppose to receive from her dead husband (some half a BILLION dollars).

3) If her lawyer and “husband” aint the daddy and his name is not in the will to receive the money, he will not come out ok. Their marriage was not legal, so therefore it CANNOT be recognized in court other than domestic partner (which is not the same) The only problem is, he was controlling anna (because she did not have much sense) and probably has control over the power of attorney.

4)Bottom line- DNA doesn’t lie, and if that test comes back and shows who the father is, that is who will control the purse strings!!!!!

First and foremost I would like to say thank you ConcreteLoopers for showing compassion for this woman. I was expecting some of the residents to act a fool…boy was I plesantly surprised to see that even though she was a trainwreck, she was adored by people of all colors, no matter how essentric she was.

I was speechless because like many of you said, she was crying out for help but I don’t think she felt she had a place to turn. When the media is all in your face 24/7 and you have problems, alot of people don’t know how to react and this is what happens. Not to mention she had leeches all around, steering her into wrong decisions constantly.

I hope her daughter has the chance to have a NORMAL L.I.F.E. and ralize that her mother was a decent human being.

I think why this really hit home with me is because this could have easily been WHITNEY HOUSTON. Not saying one’s life is more important than the other or race matters, but I would be devastated if we lost another one of our greats so soon.

When I heard this on the radio it really saddened me! I watched her show all of the time on E. This is so sad, I knew that She always popped pills so it could have been an overdose, but then again foul play. She always seemed disturbed like she had problems.

For all Anna Nichole Smith was and wasnt. I was a fan of hers. She had a reality tv show back in the day and I watched it every night. She was so entertaining to watch, so down to earth, and so real. Just like all of us out there she had her flaws and her issues. I am rally saddened by the death of this woman.

She is one person who can definately say she WENT THROUGH A HELL OF A LOT. The fight over that billion dollar estate (why didnt she get money if she was his wife? Isnt that a legal right?), then the weightloss fight, her son dying on the day she gave birth to her husband. I’m with yall who say that her current husband Howard K.
