Every day for the past year, I have been receiving that old-ass image of Jay-Z slapping some chick in the face. For those of you who don’t know, this shit is old – 7 years old to be exact. The clip is from the 2000 Roc-A-fella “Backstage” Documentary.
Back in ’04, Jay-Z spoke to the N.Y. Daily News about this image, here is what he said:
We were playing. We were laughing and joking around. She’s one of my best friends.

Don’t cop a plea or make excuses because you’re a fan, if you really care about and respect this man, you’re obligated put it out there that you think what he did was wrong no matter how old the is.
