I think she looks great. I am happy for she and JHUD to grace the covers of magazines that usually see white girls. However, I do feel for the other girl. It’s as if she’s absent and I think she did a decent job. She should be on the cover of a magazine or more about her. It was three of them not just two.

Did you ever think this is Black History Month and how proud it is to have to beautiful successful and talented black women gracing the cover of two of the top selling magazines?

Can the Beyonce haters and JHUD haters find some peace and be proud of the two being on a cover that rarely place a black woman on the covers.

Dreamgirls is a hit and for the first time, we have two people who are on at the same time.

Why can’t we be proud of both without all the hate…this is what Martin Luther King fought so hard for and later died..peace…how often are black women always being portrayed in a negative spotlight. I am so very proud of them both. They are both beautiful, successful, and are doing things in a positive light. Showing the world we black women have arrived and here to stay. I hope there are more black women gracing these covers in the future. Not just a couple black faces every five or ten years.

It’s not every day you see more than one black woman gracing the cover of a magazine unless its’ Giant, Essence, Ebony…magazines usually read by the majority of black people. While both Vogue and SI are read by all races.

Be happy for them both..they have both represented well for we black people that struggled so hard in the past just to our places in society and finally getting the respect we have so deserved.

but even candids are not really candids. most celebrities still wear makeup daily. makeup can look natural if you just put on some concealer, powder, eyeliner, and lipgloss, the basics. the candids that i’ve seen of her that i don’t believe she had any makeup were the ones where she vacationed w/jay and she didn’t look beautiful to me and she looked plsin compared to some other candids where she had makeup. she looked good just not beautiful but then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder

sell more, however, the average SI covers sells 64 million copies.
2005 edition with Carolyn Murphy sold 72 million (and I am sure

I have relatives that are part of the music industry and also knows Beyonce personally.
